Hilton Garden Inn' Atlanta Perimeter Center

Great location, clean rooms, beautiful lobby decor, good in-room service food and service. The parkng lot is on a hill so if handicapped be sure to bring along your tag so you can park in front of the lobby.

This was a weekend getaway for my husbands 50th birthday before an event in downtown Atlanta on Monday. I first checked for a downtown hotel but with parking, etc. that was OUT! I found this Hilton Garden Inn at an AMAZING rate and we were very pleased. Reviews were good but some complained about the parking lot being inconveniently up a hill. We found that to be NO problem. We unloaded at the front door (covered) onto one of many available carts and even with the rain, the short walk down nicely terraced steps was fine. There is no need to carry anything up or down the hill! We arrived 30 minutes early (before check-in time) and the very friendly staff had no problem checking us in. The king room was perfectly clean and stocked and could not have been nicer. It smelled fresh and seemed to have been recently renovated. The location was easy to find and get in and out, and is blocks from the Perimeter Mall area. Probably because it is "just the other side of 285" it was CONSIDERABLY less expensive than the other hotels of the area. We were able to have two or three nice dining experiences on what we saved on accommodations! ANYTHING you want to eat is very close! Getting on 285 or crossing over to the mall area was NO PROBLEM! Each person we dealt with was pleasant, helpful and courteous! The only "problem" we had was that our key cards did not want to work occasionally, but the people at the front desk were most apologetic and immediately replaced the stubborn cards. We ate breakfast in the restaurant just before leaving and it was excellent (not free, but reasonable.) I would and will definitely stay here again if we need to be in Atlanta!

The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the fact that there was a shuttle/bus that would take you for free to any place with in a 3 mile radius of the hotel. The rooms were very clean and nice. Stayed for 10 nights and didn't want to leave.

When we arrived and went up to our room, the TV was on, the bed had been used and the bathroom had been used. The first desk person said they could not get us another room. The second call got someone who offered us another room which we declined and they serviced the room while we were our to dinner. No discount or anything was offered for our problems.

The hotel is currently undergoing some maintenance, which was not mentioned on the website. Staff was not great. Room was OK. We paid $140/night. It's not worth more than $100-110.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable and we had lots of supplies. On our floor there was noise from other guests - such as slamming of doors late at night, and babies good be heard crying. The staff was great!!!! We were staying here during the remodeling of the lobby - didn't really bother us. WE wanted a good rate and feel we got great rooms for a reasonable rate. Usually stay at Hiltons or Hamptons and plan on continuing.

Some of the staff members, especially at check-in was impersonal, short answers, seemed to be pre-occupied, as if to let's just get him checked-in, thankfully the other lady was at the desk. The first lady at the desk seemed bothered when I asked for a receipt reprint, the ink cartridge was low on ink. Didn't do well for a first impression. After check-in, things went uphill, literally. Parking was really inconvenient, hotel vans blocking front door for no reason, hard to unload at check-in. After unloading, parking up steep hill.

The hotell was nice with beautiful views. It was walking distance to beautiful nitelife and I really enjoyed it.

Hotel was very nice! Bed was very comfortable! Loved the area as well - close to lots of nice restaurants and shopping - felt really safe there traveling alone
