good place
We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. It is in a great location downtown just minutes from many of the attractions and within walking distance to some. The building is a bit older but it does not take away from the room. Very satisfied and would stay here again.

Family vacation
The hampton was in walking distance from coca cola world, aquarium and the park. We had a great time. The only item missing was you had to use the pool across the street at the Mariott. The breakfast was the best and the room was great. We will stay here again when we are back in the area.

Hampton Inn Downtown Atlanta
Went to trade show at Georgia World Congress Center which was about a 10 minute walk. The hotel was great. The breakfast was very nice each morning. The TVs in the room were awesome.

Awesome choice in Atlanta! The
Awesome choice in Atlanta! The rooms and facilities were very clean and modern - nothing more to ask for there. Service was excellent - staff was extremely friendly and helpful, including the manager letting me have several extra hours before late check-out. Location can't be beat - right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to just about all the main tourist attractions. I would DEFINITELY stay at this hotel again if I go back to Atlanta.

Great location and breakfast!
Within 2 blocks of the Americas Mart and a few decent restaurants. The room was clean, maybe a bit small, but with roomy bathroom. No counter space in the bathroom which was a little annoying, and no hot tub to relax in after a long day (the HBO made up for it though). The breakfast is not fancy - self-served on styrofoam - but I was pleasantly surprised by the hearty eggs/omelets/sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal offerings. Compared to the other hotels this close to the Mart venue, HI was a GREAT value. I will stay here again and recommend it.

Surprisingly good
Very attactive and great convenient location, yet quiet. Staff was very helpful when I couldn't find them and had to call several times (my first trip to Atlanta). The hotel is in an old (1927) office building that is listed on the National Historic Places list. My room had 4 windows, I was on a corner, it was beautifully appointed and the fitness center was great.

DON'T rely on Google Maps to get you there or away by car. Inexact directions, and then directions that would have put me in an HOV (multiple occupants in car) lane for I75/85 were nerve-wracking, and cost me 30 - 45 minutes finding the hotel, then leaving Atlanta.
