Great Hotel In Atlanta

This was a fantastic, historical hotel, located near the heart of downtown Atlanta. It was within reasonable walking distance to some of the fun tourist and historical attractions the city has to offer. The hotel staff was pleasant, the hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, and the neighborhood was great. I will definitely stay here again during my next trip to Atlanta.

Awesome overnight/Fox Theatre

The hotel was perfect for an overnight stay for a show at the Fox Theatre. The food at the Italian place across the street was also a good find. This was our second time staying here and we will be back again. Outdoor pool would be awesome when it gets warmer!

Quick getaway

Very nice hotel overall, close to all the major tourist attractions. The only complaint I had is that the room has a shared door with an adjacent room that is not secured.

Constantly living out of a Suitcase

I was so excited to be coming to Georgia to be filming a new movie and when choosing my hotel, I didn't have to go far. I was driven up to the side and a wonderful man opened the door for me and got my bags into the lobby. I was taken aback by the enormity of the lobby and hotel. Such a beautiful old feel to it, and so classy as well. Loved the pool and workout area as well!

Couples getaway

I stayed at the Georgian Terrace because I was going to see the Nutcracker across the street at The Fox. If you plan to see a show at the Fox there is nothing like walking right across the street and not having to deal with the cab. This hotel was very nice and the rooms are very clean and comfortable and I advise anyone staying there to check out the rooftop pool so that you can get a beautiful view of the city. My stay however was not perfect so let me speak on my negative experiences which involve Room Service, Concierge, and Valet: when I woke up in the morning I wanted to order some room service because we had a few cocktails and I did not want to get out of bed. However after 45 minutes of trying, the room service line was busy the entire time. I even tried to call the concierge and it was busy. So I ended up going to the restaurant and placing a to go order. I asked if it could be brought to my room or if room service could somehow get my order. The hostess, while having a very pleasant attitude, could not help me. So I went back to my room and she called when the food was ready and I had to walk back down and pick it up. This was all very frustrating because I really didn't want to leave my room to begin with. On my way back with the food, I politely complained to the front desk and, once again, while very polite, he did not offer anything to me. He just said I'm sorry and I was left standing there like "thanks I guess". So when it was time to leave, I tried calling to have my car brought around because it was very cold out and I didn't want my date to freeze while waiting. Once again, line busy. Called concierge, line busy. Kept trying. Grrrrr!!!! Please have more people man your phones, especially room service. I tried for 45 MINUTES!!! Lastly, the renovated room was nice but the bathrooms are small. My date complained about doing her hair in such a small mirror and the shower wasnt stone or anything. But I did enjoy the glass door. I paid extra just for that bassically because I like a decent shower. And the starbucks coffee is AMAZING to have nearby. I would recommend this hotel to anyone provided they beef up their service. Overall the staff was extremely polite, just not very helpful. I reccomend going up a star and visiting the intercontental in Buckhead if you truly want top notch service. But I am a hotel snob and I think the average person would be very comfortable at the Georgian terrace

This hotel put the trick in trick or treat on Halloween night!

Horrible! Worst stay ever! Anywhere! Staff all the way from valet to manager were horrible and lacked customer service! Valet refused to valet my car due to the influx of people and stated that valet was full. He assumed I was with the crowd at The Fox, never bothered to check that I was a guest! I had to call into the front desk to have someone come out so he would park my car! I'll skip the mishaps between that and the manager coming up to my room.... I complained to him and he just shrugged his shoulders!!!! Nothing was done!!!!! I would have changed hotels but my room was non refundable And I was late for my party. Next morning again valet was the issue when checking out! It took 45 minutes to get my car and I was charged twice in my folio because I left in the night to get something to eat! I will never stay here again and have told all that care to listen! Saddened ..... This hotel came so highly recommended!
