Not Bad, Not Great
The location and overall Value was the reason for choosing this hotel. The hotel fixtures look old. There were some stains on the floor and curtains. The closet rack had a dusty film. Picture looks better than it actually is. For the price, I thought it was reasonable to deal with the imperfections. The neighborhood looks nice and safe. Hotel is real close to McDonalds and other restaurants and stores. Very close to interstate. They have a grab and go breakfast which was really convenient. ( ie. granola bras, muffins, fruit and coffee) The front desk lady told me that all the mattresses were replaced two months ago. I didn't get to select my smoking preferences so I ended up a smoking room. Boy was it a strong smokey smell. So make sure you select your room preferences.

Great Choice
The location and the room were wonderful. We appreciated the kitchenette and the two desk areas with free Wi-Fi. The only negative comments are the noise from the hallway which was magnified into the room and the fact that the bed was too hard for me. It would be helpful for them to put stripping around the door to mitigate the noise. The bed is a matter of personal preference so not something that will ever please everyone. All in all though this is an excellent place to stay.

Rooms Reek of Smoke
I requested a nonsmoking room, and I was given a a room that reeked of smoke. When asked if I can switch, they said they were booked up and couldn't do anything. Borderlines on negligence. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

ESA America is A-OK
Love the extended stay hotel chain. This location was very convenient to I-85, and close to a grocery. I prefer to cook my own food, so it was a good fit even though i was staying only 2 nights.

Gets the job done
while this hotel is nothing fancy, it does serve it's purpose for the budget minded traveler. Room was clean enough, location was great in relation to interest points near midtown & it's in a low-crime area. The staff could be a little more accommodating, but overall the experience was a good one.
