Great location if you're visiting Emory University

Highly recommend for anyone who wants to be close to the University. Staff was friendly and helpful, even provided walking maps. Room was clean and pleasant. Temperature control fine (ie, working thermostat in room). TV fine. Would have liked a magnifying mirror in bathroom, otherwise, provided avg amenities.

They Don't Care

I booked 2 double beds for my son and I- there are 100 choices in Atlanta and I chose this one in large part because of that. I got to the hotel at noon and was told it was to early to register and to come back at 4PM. I came back at 3:50 and was given a King bed and when I said I had reserved 2 double beds and wanted that, I was told they do not honor 3rd party reservations, for that. I still asked for what I booked and I was told they had no doubles for 2 days, but when I pointed out that the woman next to me just got an available double, the person behind the desk just smirked, handed me my king bed key and turned away. She didn't even look to see if any double rooms were available. As for room service, I made a note on my order that I wanted milk (instead of cream) for my coffee, and when it came, I was charged for an extra milk too.

Great Stay!

My 14 year old son had an early morning appointment at Egleston Children's Hospital so we decided to drive down the night before to avoid early rush hour. We wanted a nice place to rest before the stress of the hospital. The Emory Conference Center was perfect! The setting is great! We enjoyed an evening walk around the grounds to find flowers and foliage. Other hotel guests were having such a good time out on the patio enjoying the weather! Our room was immaculate! Everything worked. The TV was flat screened with a clear picture. We drove about a mile to Doc Cheys for great Asian fare then to Yogli Moglis for yogurt before turning in on a comfortable bed. We walked to Egleston Childrens Hospital for our appointment - pleasant with sidewalks all the way. Parking is free and no hassle!

Doc Cheys and Yogli Mogli right across from Emory campus gate. Very good food. There is some kind of road work going on in the area that was a bit obnoxious.

Getaway for 2

The hotel offered a great escape for a night, in a great area but not to far from the city. Hotel staff was very helpful, no complaints, me and my boyfriend will be returning!

A good place to stay

Arrived pretty late - around 9 or 10 pm. Parking is in the garage underneath the hotel - seems very secure. It is built on a hill in the woods with a pleasant atmosphere. The room was well maintained. The hotel seemed dated but very clean and well run. For breakfast we sprung for the $12.95 buffet and had an excellent breakfast with omelettes and waffles made to order. To get internet in your room will cost $9.95 extra.

Excellent Accomodations

Our stay was during the Chic-Fil-A bowl/New Year's Eve and accomodations were excellent. The Hotel was beautiful, accomodating with a peaceful setting. Close enough to town yet secluded enough for relaxation. The only complaint I have is that they charge $9.95 for internet service, where 99% of other hotels/motels provide free wi-fi. And the $9.95 is for only one user according to the staff, so if you are traveling with multiple family members, you have to pay the fee for each access code. This seems like a petty way to make money off customers. Other than the internet fee, our stay was amazing.
