Carpets were dirty, tv is 15 years old fuzzy and remote didnt work, heat or ac didnt work, no iron or ironing board in room

needs make over- good location
didn't stay the night, had cigrette burns on tv & counter tops, small tv with fuzzy picture- mold on showerhead- paint falling off hall ceileing- rust on fridge- small room- close to airport- real good location- due to mildew smell and poor tv stayed somewhere else- staff was nice

Unpleasant experience
After two phone calls and waiting for one hour and twenty minutes, the hotel shuttle finally arrived at the airport to pick me up for transport to the hotel. The free continental breakfast consisted of frozen bagels, donuts, and croissants--all of which had to be defrosted in the microwave before one could even consider eating any of them.

Atlanta Audition June 2010
I had requested a non-smoking room and got one that was obviously, previously, a smoking room. There was still the smell of smoke lingering in the room and it was a bit repulsive.

Cheap Is the only good thing about it
Cheap prices is the only thing that's good about it. Cigarette burn holes in everything. Poor cleaning staff. Breakfast was cereal or bagel.

Value for the Money
I choose my hotels for the economy as I only sleep during layovers. The locations are not important to me, but the free airport shuttle and the reasonable price are. The EconoLodge on Virginia was satisfactory on both points. I did not take advantage of the pool, nor did I need any entertainment from the neighborhood so can't report. But if you are on a budget, or prefer to spend your money on other things as long a you have a good, clean bed...then this EconoLodge is a good choice.

My review of Econo Lodge Atlanta
THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND CHEAP. NEXT TIME I'LL SPEND MORE TOO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE. THE STAFF WAS VERY VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE LOCATION WAS GREAT. I WILL SAY I WILL'NT STAY AT THE ECONO LODGE ATLANTA AGAIN.

THERE WAS A FEW RESTAURANTS RIGHT IN THAT AREA. WE ONLY ATE AT THE WAFFLE HOUSE. FOOD WAS THE BEST.

Pass if you can.
Upon check in there was no ice bucket or trash can or thermostsat control in the room.Also the ice machine on my floor was out of order. The next day the sheets had been removed but not replaced. after thirty minutes in the lobby trying to resolve the problem I had to move to another room. No offer was made for an upgrade or discount or apology for my inconvenience. The next morning upon checkout I asked for a discount and a receipt, but neither was given. I would not recomend this motel.
