Days Inn Atlanta Northwest

First thought upon entering room was "What's that smell?" Never a good sign. Floor was damp (?!) so we put our suitcase on top of the TV console, frightening an insect who lived there and scurried onto the floor. There was water damage throughout the room (carpet, wallpaper, ceiling). Admittedly, some of this may be due to the fact that it had just rained, but honestly, should the weather make a difference when we are talking about indoor accommodations? This was basically one step up from camping. The bathroom was small, but serviceable. As an added bonus, other guests' hairs were still in the tub! Thankfully the bed was fine and the sheets were clean, but the entire experience was so gross that the next day we checked out and stayed in another hotel for the rest of our trip. The clothes that we hung in the closet still had the mildew/rot smell that permeated the room, four days after we had stayed there, and after excessive Lysol-ing.

i was in atlanta to shop with my boyfriend we drove from birmingham alabama. we left late so by the time we got there we were ready to pass out. this motel was in a good location, close to downtown and the mall we wanted to go, there was a gas station and a waffle house right by the motel in a walking distance. (at most 2mins away from your room even if its at the edge of the motel complex)the ac in the room was already working when we walked in so it was very cool in the room, it could be cleaner but it was clean enough for the price. the staff at the reception was very friendly even when we got there very late at night. previously we were in a cheap motel about the same price in birmingham, this one was so much better.

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. It was a complete dump. The room smelled like a dead animal was in the wall. Something had actually chewed through the baseboards and you could see outside through the hole. The bathtub was completely cracked with a giant hole in the ceiling. This was a horrible motel that nobody should ever stay in.

they was people walking up and down bumping on the window and my door, they was drunking people talkin loud and laughing. i wanted to cancel my reservation but could not find any other available soo I check in around 12m and checked out around 2am couldnt deal with it.

This hotel was awful. It was next to a strip club with a Waffle House attached to it. It was falling apart, the room was musty & felt yucky--we didn't want to touch or sit on anything. It was NOT family or couple friendly-seemed like a seedy place where people go to hook up. It was hell on earth & do NOT stay there ever. It should be torn down asap.

The only thing that we enjoyed was that the hotel was very close to downtown Atlanta where we spent most of our time. We only came back to the hotel to sleep. The wireless was so bad that they had to change our room and even then it was almost nothing. We just decided to give up trying to find wifi. Don't advertise wifi if you are not going to provide it. I really can't say anything. You get what you pay for.

Liesure trip, sporting event. Hotel was very conveinent to Phillps arena. Pricing was Fair and reasonable. Staff was very friendly. Like that Wafflehouse was right next door.

We were rudely checked in, sent out the front door to find our own room because staff was to busy to inform us where to go and they had no maps. Then we turned sideways in order to enter the half of a front door once we found our room. Once inside we were assaulted by the vial smells and stains that covered the room. We then proceeded to put our bags back into our car and leave. [...] We missed our planned new years celebration in Atlanta, GA due to not being able to stay in Atlanta. [...]

The staff was prompt and friendly. Our tv wasn't working properly and they fixed it right away. The only problem we had was that the single king room we reserved wasn't available and they put us in a double queen room instead, explaining that there were no other rooms. We will find out how big of a problem when we get our bill. The bathroom was scary. I couldn't bring myself to get in that tub/shower. It may have been free of germs but it was rusty and cracked and had been painted in several layers of paint that was coming off. Ewwww. The staff, however, was awesome. They were out of caffeinated coffee for the rooms.
