Comfort Inn Downtown South at Turner Field

The elevator was in need of repair but other than that I had an excellent stay at this hotel!! Thanks

I travel many nights a month, Comfort Inn and Suites are used many times a month with great results, for years except this one. For location to the Brave's Turner Stadium, it is great and has free parking ($10 value). My 1 month advance reservation room was $120 w/o tax (expensive). Motel was foul, no A/C in lobby, smells in hallways, 30+ yrs old+ (my guess) and no updating, elevators and facility were poor condition, 6 floors and Ice machines have not worked in years on 5 floors. Staff knows and do not care. Cancel time is a WEEK earlier, odd situtation as compared to 99% of others are the day of, but I now know why. When you walk into the lobby you want to cancel, but cannot w/o losing your money. Do not use even with that nice walk to Turner Field. Satisfaction in Not Guaranteed and with good reason.

Overall the hotel was fine but we needed to be downtown daily and at 12$ per cab ride it was not convenient. The location should have been made clearer. The hotel was not located where I thought.

Pretty much what you expect at a two star hotel. Breakfast was decent. Location is right next to turner field so if you are going to the game great place to stay. About 10-15 minutes into downtown ATL without traffic. Room was okay decently clean. Would be better if there was a fridge in the room.

Everything was great...the breakfast, the service, the room. The only problem was that our ice machine was out on our floor; therefore, we had to go to another floor for ice. It was not a problem for us. I would go back to this hotel on my next visit to Atlanta.

The hotel concierge was slow and unhelpful. The hotel looks grungy. It says that it is entirely non smoking but the floor reeked of cigarettes. The hotel room itself was just okay but it the amenities were all outdated and the furniture just looked old and used. The shower never got hot so my shower was luke-warm in the morning. It was only 1 night but I wouldn't want to relive that night.

This is an exceptional bargain. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast provided are sufficient with variety. Extremely value for money and they allow late check-out in special occasion. Highly recommended.

I was attending a convention and choice this hotel because of the cost. For $20 more, I was able to stay in a much nicer hotel. The facility was very dirty, and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car in the parking lot. There wasn't any hot water, and the staff didn't adjust the cost either. Furthermore, the elevator didn't feel safe. I was very glad to checkout and move to another hotel. [...]

Staff was awesome! Very friendly.

The staff wasn't friendly and the hotel was dirty. I tried to call for a wake up call and nobody picked up on the other end. I tried to call the loby for a late checkout and nobody picked up the phone.
