Great hotel on the beach

We got first floor room - which was great when traveling with kids - they could just open patio door and play in sand. The floor was ceramic title - which was OK when cleaning all the sand they brought in., carpet would be very hard to clean. (my guess this only applies to lower lower rooms). The room was equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, tv. and (very important for this room) broom and dust pan. The hotel is right on the beach, it is 300-400 yard walk, the sand is kind of sharp (lot of small ground shells). There is small pool (if there are more then 10 people it feels crowded) As far as I can tell all rooms have windows facing beach. There is a CVS right across street.

Good value for Money

I was actually on business but i enjoyed the chance to take a swim in the pool and walk on the mile long beach sidewalk. Ha d breakfast at Bazzies and Dinner at Sloppy Joes. Both were very good value for the money. Love the broad expanse of this beach and the sea grass. Only complaint was that the young adults next to me partied a little too hard, were extremely noisy all night long until 4AM. When I finally called to the desk someone else had also had it and security was on its way. It did quiet down after that,

Perfect view with the bar on the first floor and tables outside

$15 daily surcharfge for parking, fruite water in the lobby etc..... Threes floor building, Friendly staff, nice view from the room window. But as the bar is right underneath the bulcony at 7 am you'll be waken up by the bar crew moving tables and chares outside. When being at the bulcony peaple from the bar may be looking at you and vice versa ... Other than that hotel is fine with good service.

Family get away

Room was very nice. Enjoyed the ocean front balcony suite. Beach was huge. Only downside was a long jaunt out to the ocean. Not bad though. Had a slide set up nearby for kids that cost a little extra. My 7 year old enjoyed it. Pools were nice. Nice having 2 restaurants on site. Front desk and staff extremely friendly. Parking seemed a little tight, but they really worked to get you into the main lot. Otherwise another lot was just across the street.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

VIP Mexican restaurant across the street had great food. Ricky T's across the street fun outdoor bar with food as well. We did not eat there, but heard it was good. Had 3 different venues of music each day...outdoor, indoor and back bar area. Interesting place.
