The Vista Inn and Suites of Tampa is five miles from Busch Gardens and approximately 20 miles from the Tampa International Airport. Our convenient location offers easy access to Interstate 275 has restaurants within walking distance, such as Perkins, Tomo Japanese Restaurant, Plato Latino for fresh Mexican cuisine, NY Times Square Pizza, China Gate, and the nearby Skipper’s Smokehouse and Oyster Bar, all local favorites. We are near University Square and MOSI Museum, three miles from Adventure Island and Tampa Greyhound Racing, and five miles from Lowry Zoo. Within ten miles of the hotel are Houlihan Stadium, Florida Aquarium, Ybor City, Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Florida State Fairgrounds, and Florida State Fair. The hotel offers guest laundry facilities as well as a swimming pool. All rooms have high-speed internet, coffeemakers, hairdryers, irons, clock radios, complimentary newspapers, free local calls, and cable TV, and select rooms offer in-room mini-refrigerators and microwaves.

second worse motel stay ever

Booked a room that was supposed to feature a king bed but what we got was a BROKEN full size bed. NO water pressure, no TV remote or cable, NO Wifi as promised (didn't reach our room we were told), wall had been recently patched (great big area) and hadn't been finished!! No phone to call front desk to complain and we didn't stick around long enough to see what else was wrong! NOT recommended or suitable for leisurely vacation stay!

Friendly

The hotel was located near my social event, which was ideal. Shopping area within a block of the hotel was very convenient after needing to purchase some items for the social event. The receptionist was very accommodating by allow my family to check in earlier than the official check in time.

Low price for FL.

Vista Inn and Suites was close to my sister-in-law's house where we were visiting. The price was good and the staff very helpful. The first room we were given on check-in was not acceptable. It had not been vacuumed and the trash had not been emptied. Also it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but cigarette butts were in the un-emptied trash basket with some unmentionable gross trash in it. Without a moment's hesitation the management assigned us a different room which was better. The motel had no frills: No breakfast of any sort,no hair conditioner,no microwave, no fridge. It did have a coffee maker, blow dryer, ironing board and iron.
