great place to stay
No complaints about the hotel, rooms and service. It is just a little pricey for my income. We did this as a special treat at the end of our vacation. I wish there was a more casual place to eat on site. The hotel was very nice and well kept.

false accusations and unresponsive
We stayed at this hotel for one night during a layover this past march 2012. During our stay we had 2 incidents with the staff in our room. The first one was when someone from the staff tried to come in the room while my girlfriend was in the shower and then the second time was more disturbing as we were out of the room to have breakfast, upon returning there were two people in our room, they did not have name tags on or identify themselves they just said they were in the room because they smelled smoke. I told them we were not smoking but they were very confrontational and told us they were going to charge us $250.00. I told them is was a false accusation, but they didn't care. We had to check out to make our flight but upon returning home a few days later I saw the charge on my bank statement and called the hotel to dispute it. I left 2 messages and sent and faxed a letter which received no response. This is not they type of service I expect from the Marriott. I may never stay at a Marriott again if this is the way they are treating their customers.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly"
The put us in a room that was musty and smelly like mold. They moved us to another room the was the same but not as bad. The first room was ridiculous. All they could say was we are sorry for the inconvenience? Gave us 1 bottle of water between the 2 of us and 2 cookies. We will not stay there again.

Beautiful and Functional
We were only there overnight but it seems the Marriott anticipated all of our needs: an ATM, gift shop, business center to check in online and print airline tickets, a restaurant, and an easy checkout process for our early morning departure.

great service
staff was great from the front desk to the lady who cleaned my room. I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.I made sure that I topped those who helped me inclduding housekeeping staff.

Family Friendly
We picked the Marriott because it was nice and close to the Tampa airport since we had an 8:30AM flight the next morning. As I expected with the Marriott name the hotel was nice. The pool was exceptional and they even had a Starbucks coffee shop in their lobby. The room was clean and nice, you could tell they had updated the rooms which made it nice. Overall the hotel was nice, my only complaint was it got rather noisy at night. Could of been some unruly teenagers in the hallway or just late travelers checking in but it did keep us up.

We had some time to kill before we flew out of Tampa so we headed to the International Plaza Mall. It was a very nice upscale mall that had a play area for our kids. The kids had a blast and Mom got some shopping in.

Great location. Comfort and style.
My experience at the hotel was very enjoyable. The beds are really comfortable as well as the pillows and comforters. That made all the difference for me. Also, the room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had Bath and Body Works toiletries that smelled very good.
