Failed expectations
We have made prepaid reservation for 2 nights. When he have arrived (around 11:00 PM) late first night to check -in, they did not have our room. There was no available room in the entire hotel. They have send us for the first night to another, mile away, hotel. Second night they gave us nice room, but we have been freezing all night. Air-conditioning thermostat did not work, and it was set up cold.

Great Florida getaway
Our six days stay at the Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport Westshore Hotel was very enjoyable. The hotel location was just perfect with the quick and easy access to the airport, great shopping and lots of great places to dine. Not far from the Clearwater's famous and beautiful beach, only one hour away from Sarasota. The hotel staff was just wonderful, very attentive and helpful with all the need. Will definetely come back soon! Would gladly recommend to a friends. Thank you. A & M NY

Honestly we did not spend alot of time in the Hotel. We slept there at night only so we did not use any of the amenities.

Overall great stay
It was a nice stay. Bed was comfortable and room was clean upon arrival. You can get a $5 voucher for each day you skip getting your room cleaned. I skipped one day but they never came on the second day. I stopped a maid in the hall on my way out and she said she would take care of it but didn't. When I got back it wasn't done. I stopped another maid on my floor and she said called the front desk. Everything else was good.

Family visit
Generally a nice place and user friendly. Nice to have a pool that our grandchildren could use when they visited with us at the hotel. The room was comfortable, but could use some touch ups, especially grouting and painting in the bathroom. The exercise room was better than average, but could use a few weight machines. The buffet breakfast was overpriced for the quality and variety.

uneven quality
Upon arrirval, we were given a 2Q room instead of the 1K we had reserved. We were then assigned a handicapped room, which we specifically said we didn't want. The handicap room had a torn sheet and loose bathroom fixtures. We went back downstairs to complain (politely, again) and ended up in a 1K. The bed and bathroom were very clean, but the carpet was not vacuumed and had some stains by the refrigerator. The lobby and fitness center were very nice.Hotel was in a great location. Front desk service was pleasant, but obviously not coordinated with housekeeping. Would I go back? Perhaps...

Best beds ever
The suite was excellent with exceptions being, parking during wedding events and the bathroom being a bit small for our taste. The best part of our stay was the bed. It was by far the best mattress we ever slept on.
