Perfect location
The staff is friendly and they make it easy. The rooms are smaller especially if you do the two double beds. Kitchenette is convenient. Overall the rooms are not built for comfort but rather function. The location is the key here. You can walk to almost everything you need or want.

Best Kept Secret SSSSSSHHHHHHHH!
I was staying in Tampa for a few days of pleasure. The only 3 negatives comments i have: hard to find not much parking office is not open 24 hours a day wierd on check in. VERY Clean place. Small and out of the way but within walking distance to grocery stores, bars and restaurants in Hyde Park. Cute decor and decorations. Just wish I didn't have to park on the street during the last night. I would encourage others to stay (unless i'm in town!)

Great business stay
I stayed at the Hyde Park Hotel for a business trip. It was the best price I could find in the area, and turned out to be the best deal as well. The hotel is an easy, quick drive from the airport, to the mall, and to the convention center downtown. It is right in the center of all the Tampa attractions. The hotel is small, quiet, and newly renovated. The room was nice and clean, and the staff was very pleasant to deal with. There is a grocery store right around the corner, and plenty of restuarants within walking distance. You will love the neighborhood, I know I did.

Awesome deal!
Stayed here for the Lady Gaga Concert with my friends! Staff was super friendly, check in was simple. We arrived later in the evening after the staff had left, however we were given easy instructions on how to get into our room. The room was very clean and had a nice flat screen tv. The hotel is located in a great area, surrounded by restaurants and bars. It was really safe and pretty, I would definitely stay there again! Had a great time!

Nicely priced but no heat!!!
This hotel is centrally located in an area where there is entry to do and you can even find a quick meal, as long as you arrive at a decent hour. They should upgrade there heating units at least. I was in Tampa on one of the coldest days of the year and I almost froze to death. Not really but it was very uncomfortable couldn't sleep due to the cold and I had a very important meeting the next morning, cod barely take a shower to boot. Otherwise decent place accommodating management. I've used them last to years and overall good for the price.

Good location, but small room size
Visited with family, room was very small, tight, not very comfortable..but we didn't spend much time in the room

Wonderful Weekend
Nice little hotel, close to food, the interstate and Bayshore Blvd. Very quiet at night. Well maintained room was very small but very adequate. Would stay there again.

Ideal location to explore downtown Tampa
We came to take the Florida bar exam at the convention center. This was an ideal location. It took me six minutes to drive there during the morning rush hour. Owner very personable. Short walk to restaurants, shops and fitness center. Good location for joggers. Two double beds were in our room leaving very little space for walking around. We had to sit on the bed to watch TV.
