Prime location with pool near Tampa airport and Air Force base
Howard Johnson Express Inn Suites has a prime location just minutes from Tampa International Airport, downtown Tampa, Cruise Terminal and the Westshore financial district. The hotel is the closest property to MacDill Air Force Base and serves as home to many troops and their families while visiting the base. Two miles to the west, guests can enjoy a beautiful 9-mile walkway along Bayshore Blvd. Starbucks Coffee, Quiznos Subs and many other restaurants are located nearby. Good value hotel
Although the location isn't perfect, the hotel proposed clean and comfortable rooms, free continental breakfast and no stupid crazy extra fees, very good value for a long road trip break, if you're not looking for anything fancy of course !

Great clean and comfy

Good deal for a short vacation
Stayed here over a four day vacation to Tampa. This hotel has a great location for exploring the area around Tampa. Additionally, there are several restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was nice; show up early to avoid a crowd.
