Suites with pool and free breakfast close to Raymond James Stadium
The Holiday Inn Express is the closest hotel to Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Legend's Field, the spring training site of the New York Yankees. The hotel is also close to Tampa International Airport and Westshore business district. The Port of Tampa, Tampa Convention Center and St. Pete Times Forum are just a 5-minute drive from the hotel. Great hotel for Yankees spring training
This hotel is half a block from George Steinbrenner Field, which is great. They have a really nice continental breakfast set-up, with hot food (eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, oatmeal, biscuits, pancakes) and cold (cereal, yogurt, bagels, english muffins, etc). And COFFEE. So it really helps when you're just trying to grab something before heading off to the game. The hotel is set back from the main road, so it's a little more quiet than some others I've stayed in in the area. Also the pool is very nice, nothing special, but it has a nice deck area that gets the sun for most of the day. The room itself was pretty typical, and the staff that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Overall a good place to be if you're planning on seeing some baseball in the area.

spring training fan
Spring Training
Our first room smelled of mildew and we were not able to switch rooms. However, the next morning the manager was able to switch our rooms. The new room was clean and fresh. Management and staff were very accomodating. The continental breakfast was below par compared to other Holiday Inn Express facilities I have been to.

Very Disappointing!
Waited over 30 minutes for the airport shuttle to Hotel. The driver was on his cell phone most of the way. There were bugs crawling around the floor of the van. The hot tub was COLD! No pool towels. The hotel is not by any stores to pick up necessities for a cruise (water, suntan lotion etc; those things you can't take with you on the plane) Very below average for our expectation of a Holiday Inn!

Yankee Spring training
Very convienent since it is less than 1/2 mile from the stadium. A nice selection was provided for breakfast and the room was clean and comfortable.

Best place to stay for spring training
we chose this hotel a second time for its location, cleanliness, free shuttle, and wifi, and didn't want to leave. Next year, same time, Holiday Inn! You rock!

Great for Yanks Spring Training !
Perfect location for Yanks Spring Training ...you can walk or arrange a drop off or pick up and the drivers are ready and willing, Staff overall was Great, anything u needed they were able to help quickly and professionally . Free Breakfast was Good and always fresh . Room was fine for my needs . Wish the pool was heated , be so much better because in the spring there the location of the pool does not get sun first half of the day so its little chilli , should think about that small upgrade . Overall Great Time and will be back again next year. Thx !

loved the complimentary breakfast!!
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only thing that I would say is that it would have been nice to be able to talk to the staff- they did not speak english! I wanted clean towels and they didn't know what I was talking about!

Great Value
Room was quiet and walls were thick enough to not hear neighbors. Staff was helpful and courteous. Amenities were adequate. Great value for Tampa, and just 8 minutes from the air port.
