Vacation , in a vacation .
The staff was very attentive. This hotel stay was wonderful, the room was clean, the location is great, and our stay was nothing less then amazing .

Confusing to find, but a pleasant stay
The Hyatt Regency Tampa recently changed its name to Hotel Tampa, but neither I nor my friends who came there to pick me up knew that. They need to clear up that confusion, somehow. Otherwise, a lovely hotel, very attentive staff, very good value.

a renovated hotel that does make the cut
Staff= perfect amenities=Ok TV, a neck soar, the bed tucked in the corner ignoring the 15" of room leftover, watching straight at the door that takes you to the other room (if you combine them) and a HUGE armoire with two $3 each warm bottles of water, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, no USB outlet. bathroom.... mmm a 4 star hotel does NOT have a 20" wide single bowl vanity, no hair dryer a 40" wide closet that did not even open properly. HUGE disappointment. Our first time at this hotel and our last.

Friendly and efficient staff!
The doorman remembered my daughter and I from a short stay there a year ago!! All staff is very efficient, friendly and helpful. Service was always prompt. I do wish they had microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms though.

There are 2 great malls near the airport (a quick drive from the hotel). Westshore Mall and International Plaza. Intern'l Plaza is more high end.
