Bed Bugs!!
Everything about the hotel was nice... free Wi-Fi, hot breakfast, location... except for the BED BUGS!! I literally only stayed a night and didn't notice anything until I was on my flight back home. I woke up with over a dozen tiny and painful bites on my legs. I contacted the hotel and they apologized and would investigate my room. I didn't ask for compensation, just wanted them to make sure no one else has to have my exerience

Great Location
This hotel is in a great location. It's walking distance to lots of night entertainment, bars, and restaurants. It's also right next to a trolly stop, so getting into downtown Tampa is very easy. The hotel itself is a typical Hampton Inn. Our room had a good size refrigerator, so storing drinks and food was really easy. The hotel was well kept, with clean and safe rooms.

Great Get Away!

Great location, friendly staff, best Ybor City option
Gave me a great corner room with a view of Downtown Tampa, Channelside, and the trolley barn. Very comfortable, exceptionally clean. Absolutely the best location for going out and enjoying yourself in Ybor City without worrying about getting home and/or driving. Free Wi-Fi. Parking is $8/day which is very reasonable.

If you'd like to rent a bike, you can take the yellow Ybor trolley right by the hotel toward downtown. There is a bike rental hut along the riverwalk in front of the Marriott hotel.

Very good for couples, family and business
+Comfortable, well maintained, clean,hotel with nice room size and amenities. Buffet breakfast was o.d., except for the eggs.

Friendly staff and clean, comfortable room
We stayed at the hotel while at a conference in Ybor city. It's easy to get to fantastic food just down 7th street with an exciting night life (which may not be suitable for younger children). The Street Car that takes you right into downtown Tampa is within a minutes walk. The pool and exercise room could use some updating. Everything else was in excellent and like-new condition. Our one complaint is that the hotel was very full and the staff had a hard time keeping up with the coffee at breakfast.
