Embassy Suites Tampa has a direct link to the Tampa Convention Center via sky bridge, making this hotel ideal for business travelers. Guests enjoy free cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary evening reception. The property features two-room suites and a rooftop pool overlooking Tampa Bay. Fantastic Hotel
The NEW Embassy Suites downtown Tampa was a great buy. Adjacent to trolley for easy transportation. Starbucks on site is nice too!! VEry happy with the stay.

great choice
This hotel was right acrosss the street from the convention center and just a few blocks from the port for cruises...great location! The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great cruise port location!
The suite room was excellent. We loved the seperate living space with the extra TV. The breakfast bar is the best we've ever had. The location is great if you're going on a cruise. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet.

Beautiful and luxurious
Was there for a nursing convention. Loved the direct access to the convention center from the hotel. Was glad it was sunny and warm because access not covered at all.

Let's Go Bows!
Spectacular!
The Embassy Suites in downtown Tampa was the perfect hotel for our needs. We flew from Hawaii to Tampa to see our Rainbow Wahine volleyball team play for the NCAA Div. I national title. The St. Pete Times Forum, where the games were played, is within walking distance and the Convention Center is a pedestrian bridge away. A supermarket and drug store are within walking distance. On our trek to the market, we crossed a drawbridge and saw pelicans! The hotel room had living and sleeping spaces, each with its own tv. The delicious breakfast buffet served each morning was a winner. The lady making made-to-order omelets was a delight, as was our server, [...]. They started our day off happy and with a great energy boost. There's also a trolley right outside the hotel that takes passengers to nearby towns. Downtown itself is modern, safe, and clean but lacks eating establishments and things to do with families.

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is a substantial playground for adults. With tons of slot machines and card tables, it's hours of enjoyment. There's a food court (not that great) for a quick bite or a decent buffet for a heartier meal. The drive from downtown Tampa to the casino is about 15 minutes away by taxi.

Tampa Convention center area
Great service, with staff seeking out if they could help with anything. The nightly Manager's reception was very nice and it allowed me to meet with associates in an informal but pleasant environment. Like the location near the Street car to Ybor!

Drive or take the Street car to Ybor (Dining, Shopping, Entertaonment ETC), but M to Thur the Street Car stops running at 10 PM.

First class accomodations
Nicest hotel that I have ever stayed at.Very nice room, excellent breakfast, courteous and professional staff.Made you feel like you had a million dollars.Would definitely recommend Embassy Suites to anyone.Will most assuredly stay there in the future.

Embassy Suites Downtown Tampa
We enjoyed the hotel. The downtown location was perfect, the room was great, the staff very friendly, and the breakfast was made to order and awesome! The only drawback, was the parking, valet which was an additional charge.
