Embassy Suites Tampa - Airport/Westshore

Fourth time I've stayed. Always, friendly and attentive staff. The cooked breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day! Spacious suites with ample light and very comfortable furnishings. Having a fridge and a microwave is a big plus too. I'll be back!

The hotel is in an ideal location! So many things are within walking distance I did not need a rental car. Really nice mall and restaurants right across the street. Not to mention, the shuttle will take you anywhere you want to go within a 2-3 mile radius. Fitness center was great and even had headphones if you forgot your own. The breakfast was amazing for "free". Hot omelets, oatmeal, waffles, bacon/sausage, etc. The managers reception was nice as well. Very friendly bar tenders. The room was huge...would be great for a family or group of friends. I had a really good stay....just wish I was able to see more of Tampa! Read some negative reviews about the Embassy Suites... boy were they wrong...I would definitely stay there again if in the area!!

Great hotel, beautifully decorated, large room, great location. Extras are a huge plus and really add to the value..the managers reception, breakfast and shuttle were very convenient and much appreciated.

I booked this hotel because it was nearby the Wyndham where my seminar was. What a great place to stay. Troy at the front desk when I checked in was wonderful and very helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The free breakfast was more than I had expected. The number of items on the buffett and cooked to order eggs were great. Then at night there was a Managers Reception where there was free drinks and snacks. They also offer a free shuttle to anywhere within a 3 mile radius of the hotel too. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. All the people that we dealt with was so helpful and always smiling. Nothing that we asked for was a problem at all.

Was very happy with the hotel--great room, very clean & it was convenient to the venue of my daughter's wedding. Also, there's something to be said for a snack @ the Waffle House next door after a full evening of partying! A couple meember's of our group used the fitness facility & were happy with it. Would recommend this place to my friends.

Overall, was a good deal. We have stayed there 8 days in a 2 bedroom suite which is very large with a kitchenette. Our room was clean, Breakfast was fine, hot and cold choices, reasonable sitting area. No noisy at night. Great location to the malls. International mall is just minutes away. I have recommended this hotel to families that they have been pleased with it as well.

One of the reason I stay at the Embassy Suites is that they don't nickle and dime you every time you turn around and I like their coffee. However, I don't understand why they have to charge extra for the wi-fi. Why don't they just either throw it in for free or have it as part of the room cost. This very uncharacteristic of the Embassy Suites.

Room was A+. Bed very comfortable and room was update and clean.

The location was perfect the cleanliness was good we had a more than adequate room, but, there was an airconditioner on the 8th floor hallway that was leaking water into the hallway which made the carpet wet it was also stained in several places and a can light right near the elevator that flickered probably overheating. They recommended a pizza place for us it took 1 1/2 hours to get a pizza had i known I would have ordered from dominoes. The welcome cocktails and snacks were nice and the breakfast was really good. The breakfast bar had a omlette station but no one manning it. but the food was really good.
