The Doubletree Hotel Tampa Westshore Airport is located less than two miles from Tampa International Airport in the heart of the Westshore business district. Excellent!
My husband and I stay at the hotel while attending the boxing events put on by One Punch Promotions. Rooms are excellent! Food in the sports bar is excellent! A great mall is right down the street. This is the perfect hotel. The cookies are excellent!!. We even got to see a wedding that was held here. We love it.

Mothers Day Getaway
The hotel was ok for the price. We were able to check in early and the staff was friendly. The first night someone pulled the alarm at 4am.we had to evacuate the building. It was a false alarm. Saturday eve. the fire alarm went off again and we had to evacuate the building. Once again false alarm. This was a bit disappointing. The hotel manager provided a complimentary dinner at the Players Bar and Grille within the hotel. The turkey burgers were great!!!! The malls were awesome and we really enjoyed the shuttle services.

GREAT OVERALL EXPERIENCE
FOUND STAFF SERVICE TO BE THE BEST ATTRIBUTE OF THIS HOTEL. SECOND WAS THE ROOM QUALITY.THIRD WAS THE LOCATION- CENTRAL LOCATION, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING ESPECIALLY THE AIRPORT.

Great service
We arrived on an early flight and an early check-in was no problem for the extremely helpful staff. We ended up having our room changed at check-in due to some maintenance and they warned us about being on the highway side and it might be noisy. I barely noticed any noise at all and certainly not to a level that would make sleep difficult. The free cookies at check-in were incredible, we ended up buying a tin of them. The only real downside to the room was it felt like we needed a trail of bread crumbs to make it back to the main lobby, the path to get to rooms in the tower has several twists and turns.

We didn't actually have a chance to check it out, but a restaurant probably within 300 feet to the east of the hotel boasted of being one of the top 10 steakhouses in the US. I don't know who's top 10 list it was though, sorry.

Great price and great location
We had a wonderful stay. The children loved the pool and whirlpool. The location was close to everything. It was Awesome!!

Airport layover
Our room was adjacent to the interstate and very noisy from the traffic. We did not complain, as they were able to accommodate us for an early check in. We were looking forward to the pool; however, it was not heated and the weather was chilly. The pool is in a courtyard and was in the shade for the most part. But how can you tell a 3 year old she can't go in the pool? Brrrr...is all I have to say about that. The sports pub in the hotel was very convenient and served good food.

grat location&bed unhekpful management
room was next to gym, traffic & noise all hours, asked for higher floor, was told all rooms were "reserved for priority customers" felt like I was a 2nd class guest for getting a good rate through [...].Great people, lousy management staff.wouldn't stay there again.
