Just ok.
Wasn't very impressed for a *** hotel. Small kitchen area was nice for an extended stay. Couldn't quite figure why there was only one 25" TV in the room. The TV was 30+/- feet from the bed. The price was right and I needed a place for one night. Don't think I'd choose it again.

Spacious room, clean and quiet
The room was clean and quiet. It was actually a small apartment with a full kitchen and separate sitting area. Large desk specially designed for computer users. Friendly staff. Less than 10 minutes by car to Tampa Airport with shuttle, separated from Highway 60 West by a lake, which gives it a resort-like atmosphere. Gas barbecue for the use of guests by the lake. All suites are on 2 levels, with sliding door-windows opening on small individual patios. A nice change from impersonal, large-chain hotels. Walking distance from great seafood restaurant.

Chased Away
I arrived a little early (an hour) to check in and got the impression from the lady at the desk that she was annoyed by me showing up early, and insisted that I come back in an hour and my room would be ready. The hotel was really quiet the weekend that i was there and I didn't get the feeling that my room wasn't ready, especially after seeing the housekeepers so early in the morning. The place is a little dated, but with the exception of that one particular desk clerk, everything else was fine.

Fantastic opportunity
My trip was as a result of a family emergency therefore it was planned in a short time span. What a pleasant surprise was in store for my elderly mother who was traveling with me and me. Every aspect of the accomadations were great. One of the greatest surprises was the free full breakfest. Mgt. and staff were great and should be commended. I would recommend and if I return to Tampa I would stay at the same place.

Solid value and a great bay view
Chase Suites Hotel Tampa provided a very nice family atmosphere--and at a great price. The hotel sits literally right on the water--what a great view of the bay. The room was quite large--the amenities very nice (especially the kitchenette). Getting to this hotel (from the Tampa airport) is a snap--maybe 10 minutes.
