Nice location
Friendly staff at check in. They apologized for giving me a first floor room, but I didn't mind. Room was clean. Nonsmoking with no appreciable odor. Comfy bed and a big TV. I had ocean view, but being on the first floor had to look over the pool to see it. No big deal to me personally. Down the hall is Crabby Bill's. Very good restaurant with beachfront bar. Reasonably priced for a hotel affiliate. Still, if you want to get out for something a little more reasonably priced, I'd recommend the Press Box Sports Bar. Anyway, I enjoyed the stay. If you're coming in on business, it's near the airport and easily reached. From a pleasure perspective, I might lean towards something a little more centrally located.

Outstanding place to relax and party
This is a awesome hotel,soft bed, friendly people, and a great central location for whatever you like to do.. trust me I have been to a hotel in sand key and this place was much better.I will be visting this hotel again...

Great Hotel for the price !!!
This was a great hotel with a great view of the bay. Service was great. Lobby, halls, rooms, all clean. Very well kept hotel. Staff was very friendly. Stayed for over a week and would go back. Would definately recommend to friends and family.

nice hotel, good location
I think the hotel was great but the one thing i didnt like was i had to pay 50.00 to be on the water side for 5 days. The hotel was not full and we are from omaha and did not want to look at the parking lot. the air conditioner did not work for the last 2 days of our stay, but the weather was great so that helped.

Nice location
We were very pleased with the view of the bay and the location of the hotel (near airport and I-275). Pool by the bay and dock are nice. Major shopping malls, good restaurants, and the beaches are not too far away. Hotel parking is free and convenient. We didn't spend much time in the hotel because our stay was short. We were pleased with the room, the bed, cleanliness, bathroom, tv, etc. We planned on having a drink and a nice relaxing dinner at the hotel after our flight. That didn't happen. There is no bar and the eating facility atmosphere is similar to a sports bar. The place was crowded so I assume the food is good. We were surprised that there wasn't a continental breakfast or any type of complimentary morning snack. We're expected a breakfast offering similar to that provided by Hampton Inn. We needed to check out of the hotel at a certain time, so we filled out the form to have breakfast delivered to our room the night before. After waiting 45 minutes we called to complain. We noted that the form we hung on the outside door knob had been picked up. The food finally arrived over an hour late and we refused it because we had to leave. We got a take-out breakfast at a Hardee's on the way to our next destination. Most hotels now have complimentary decaf coffee and tea in the lobby area as well as regular coffee. Not so at this hotel -- only regular coffee.

Beautiful view!
The hotel has a gorgeous water view! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are extremely comfortable and clean! The only part that is lacking is the dining option...very slow service, and although the food was good, our first experience was not a favorable one. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and felt it was great value for what we paid!

Very nice.

This trip was probably the "last blast" with my 23 year old son who will gradute college soon and be out in the full time working world. We visited beaches from Honeymoon Island down the coast to Pass-a-Grill. The white sandy beaches are the best we have ever experienced. We fished for 1/2 day with a guide who knew the waters and caught redfish and sea trout. Those fish are in the freezer waiting for a family dinner together. Another fun time was watching the Rays play at Tropicana Field. We have never been so comfortable at a baseball game. The dome is cool inside and lots of fun. Be sure to see Caladesi Island state park off Honeymoon Island. Best shelling is there.
