Best Western Bay Harbor Hotel

easy checkin ,relaxing pool , beautiful sunset from bayside , will return

Not a 3 star hotel. Bedding was comfy, rest of the accommodations were adequate at best. Asked for a no smoking room but smoke from other balconies get into hotel. Kids running and yelling in the hallways.

I had a nice experience. Staff was friendly. I did receive a call upon check in to make sure things were okay. Plumbing needs work and did not really have time to deal with the problem. Sink in bathroom would not drain. I am sure they would have fixed it promptly, but I was in a hurry to get to airport and did not want to wait. Overall experience was good.

So we booked this hotel particularly for the fact that it was on the bay and NOT on the busy beaches in and around Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete. We thought that by going in mid-May we'd be clear of all of the spring breakers and all the shenanigans that go along with that. We also specifically booked the Best Western because we simply wanted a laid-back, no frills place. So imagine our surprise at we pull in at 8pm and find a huge neon flashing sign out front and a thumping nightclub (Hogan's Beach Club) right next door. Yes, Hulk Hogan. This hotel is on Rocky Point....some place that is supposed to be a little calmer and classier...not the 3am outdoor stage and loud music location. To sum this review up, it would have been helpful if this information was provided at time of booking so we could have considered elsewhere. Be prepared....

Great hotel convenient to beach, city, college, restaurants, etc. view is great.

Upon entering the hotel we were assigned a room. Our reservation was made for bay side view they put us on city side. We were then able to change rooms to match our reservation. We went into our new room to discover the bathroom was still dirty the carpets had not been vacuumed there was even a toenail on the floor. Obviously housekeeping took some shortcuts on this room. Housekeeping needs to be more thorough and deffinatly clean all surfaces don't just try to make it look decent actually clean it. Whisky Joes is very loud at night and can be heard till the early hours of the morning if you are looking for restful sleep you may want somewhere else. Hogans Beach Restaurant is a good value and quick service.

Nice hotel on the beach and near the airport but there is a club club which stays open till 3am... loud music and noisy people!

Close to the airport easy to get to restaurant right there good food the room was nice over all enjoyable experience. Would stay again

the only thing relly missing is that im used to traveling to a place where i can wlk on a lot of beach, there is only an ity bitty beach and not sure i would even go in the water. Hogans restaurant is attached which made it quite intresting and fun, the service wasnt the best but limited menu was delicious, the sushi was fantastic! shout out to that guy! i would go back with friends for more of a party type atmosphere on the weekends, total relax on weekdays! may go back next april!!

The Best Western at Bay Harbor was absolutely great! I had a fantastic view of the bay and surrounding areas. The heated pool was very nice and let's not forget about Hogan's Beach which was a good time every night I went there. From the food to the staff, the room to the pool - I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!
