Ok 2 stay

Decent value for the money, but a bit removed from the action (restaurants, beach, etc.) in St. Pete area. Ok place to stay if saving $ is your main concern.

Plenty of pillows and late check out

We stayed out late for a concert and slept very soundly. The breakfast is served till 10 on weekends. The taxi ride to the State Theatre concert venue was about 15 bucks plus tip each way The upstairs rooms have very high ceilings which give the room a spacious feel. It was not the cleanest room I have stayed in but i was very satisfied with it especially for the price I payed. It was $66 total price on a holiday weekend

Good idea for baseball fans

Decided to stay there to see a Tampa Bay Rays game at Tropicana Field. Got to the ballpark in about 10 minutes. The hotel has got that typical La Quinta design. We liked it. Breakfast room was fairly large. Breakfast itself was ok.

Carpet need cleaning, small room, no refrigator, no mircowave in room, Only one lamp light work. For the price I expected more.

Very Disappointed

We booked a king and ended up with a queen. I called ahead to confirm check in time which was 3pm. We were late because of a traffic accident. When we got there at 430pm they told us our room was not ready yet. We had to wait another half hour. The room wreaked of bleach, the furniture was old and soiled, and the room was not only tiny, but still filthy. There were hairs and mold all over the shower area. The vent in the bathroom was moldy and hadn't been touched in years. I couldn't even complain because they were booked solid for the weekend in the area. Stayed at LaQuinta before, and it was never a dump or mismanaged place like this.

Nice Stay

Over all for the money was a nice place to stay. Just needed a place to crash after going to the beach and then flying out the next day. Was good enough quality for that. Would recomend to others as a nice place to stay for a short stay.

Dennys is right next to the hotel. Great for breakfast, even though the hotel serves continental breakfast.

It couldn't have been better

We didn't go with huge expectations--we just wanted two beds, a clean room and a helpful staff, and that's exactly what we got. The hotel met every need we had without flaw or error.

Perfect Inexpensive Get-a-way

Needed place to stay that was cheap and in the St. Pete area. The place was in a sketch part of the town, but the place itself was very cute and quaint and didn't look like it belonged there. Definitely worth the money compared to all of the rates around it, especially last minute.

Get what you pay for.

In a vary undesirable area of town. WiFi did not work for the 3 night stay and TV kept cutting out. Would not recommend this hotel if you are wanting to enjoy a nice stay, pay a little extra and move closer to downtown or the beaches.

ugly and dirty; bad part of town

room was dirty and ugly; carpet was filthy and black; no disabilty accomdations in room; Sheriff constsantly around hotel.
