Dolphin Beach Resort

Staff were excellent. Rooms were typical Florida beach rooms, musty smell, but clean. electronic door locks did not respone well, had to keep going back to desk to load a new door card. Light bulbs in room needed to be changed.

My wife and I love the location of this hotel and booked this spot for the last two years and will do it again!! The friendliness of the hotel staff were great and the overall time spent there was amazing. Loved the pool---which was always clean---the sunsets were the best!

Had a wonderful stay at the Dolphin Beach Resort, would definitely want to stay again! Workers were friendly, the room was nice and clean everyday. Enjoyed the pool, liked being able to walk right on St. Pete's beach everyday and watch the beautiful sunsets every night!

Room service was poor. Old and out dated. Could use some updating. Staff NOT friendly, especially front desk people. Asked for a late checkout, was willing to pay for 1/2 day, got till 12 noon. Asked to be put in another room, again willing to pay with no avail. Never had this problem any where else. All the rooms were filled??

I left my memory bracelet on the shelf above the microwave. I called from the airport about 5 hours about 4 hours after we left and was kind of given the run around about the housekeeper had already left for the day and they couldn't ask her. They stated that they could not get into the lost and found room. Called again next day and spoke with housekeeping mgr and she said she would call me back and never did. She was going to check on it herself. I was very sad.

It's an older property, and has been refurbished, and then refurbished again. Probably many times over. But it's on the beach. And that's the reason I booked it. And that's the reason I went ahead and stayed there. I was in town for a family emergency. And the beach is a place where my family enjoys winding down. Location, location, location. I probably would not book the hotel for a vacation. Though the room was clean, it lacked the "I want to stay here again" appeal.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Everything on the menu was delicious. Beach bar closing after sunset was the only bad thing.

this resort is right on StPete Beach..rooms very clean..staff helpful and friendly...cant get any better for the money..

Hotel was quiet .pool and beach was immaculate. hotel and beach staff were so friendly. We would definitely go back .

A pleasant visit and we very much enjoyed proximity to the beach and pool. The music at the beach bar was too loud for a quiet or relaxing time by the pool and should be modified for our tastes. The one true disappointment was upon our arrival and check in, the hotel had no record from you of our reservation! The clerk stated that they had experienced other instances recently when you had failed to transmit a reservation to them. I needn't tell you I'm sure, how disconcerting it is to be "welcomed" in such a manner. I should add that the staff at the front desk could brush up on some common courtesies such as "please" and "thank you" when talking to patrons. Also, the water was not hot.
