Excellent location. Convenient to Tropicana Field, Museums, Downtown, Restaurants, and short drive to Gulf Beach. Guest Must be at least 21 years of age or older in each room. Contact the hotel directly for hotel policy.

2nd Time Around

This was my 2nd time staying at this Comfort Inn. Rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. Hotel pool, jacuzzi, and grounds are well kept and clean. There are a lot of places to eat at that are within walking distance or just a short drive from the hotel. Downtown, Tropicana Field, parks, and beaches are approx 15-20 mins away depending on where you are going. We will be staying at this hotel again in the future.

Good for our short stay

Spent one night while in St Pete for pleasure. Conveniently located to most of the area;little but fast food surrounds the immediate vicinity. Staff was quick and helpful, breakfast was fresh and pool area was clean. Room itself was clean and in good condition although the furniture was older. We had a peaceful night and enjoyed out stay.

Unable to get into room for 45 minutes.

After checking into the hotel, we proceeded to our room. The key would light the locking mechanism up, but would not open the door. I went back to the front desk to have another key cut. I went back to the room (on the 3rd floor) to try the new key. Still not working, was there a trick? Is it a trick key? I went back to the front desk. This time I was not going back to the room alone. The manager joined me and tried the key himself. He had to call the maintenance man to come fix the lock because they did not have another room in the hotel to move us into. The manager had to retrieve a chair from the room next door so that my elderly mother with a bad knee could sit dcwn. It was another 30 to 45 minutes before the guy showed up to fix the lock (he works multiple hotels in the area and was not onsite at the time of the service call. [...]

Could of been better

Stayed from Monday till Thursday. The shower pressure was horrible, like a dribble.

Good Price for being close to Tropicana

Stayed Saturday night, went to see Tampa Bay Rays play baseball on Sat. night and Sun. night. Staff spoke very broken English, not friendly.

We traveled to St Pete for a Rays game and some museum hopping. Only two hours but a get-away nonetheless.

board meeting

just a one nite stay. but it was stress free. i had a problem with the t.v, and within 5 min after i called the manager. the situation was taken of.also the breakfast was great.
