good stay
Good location,beautiful place,good size room, nice beds.Idid not have my room cleaned on the first day ,was forgotten.I complained twice to the front desk and have my beds done and towels changed only after 8 pm.Other than that no problems.

Losing Appel from the pass
I have been stay at the Regency in Sarasota for the third time during the last 3 years and I must say that this year I was particularly disappoint. In my room few panels of the roof were displaced,furniture start to be old,carpet in the room very dirty and I have to clean the screen tv by myself. I think for a Hyatt Regency and their price customers should get the best solution. The location save the hotel , waking up in the morning and watching the harbor and the ocean is just fabulous.

Just loved it...
I went there for work and just loved the beautiful weather and restaurants. The hotel was perfect. "NO COMPLAINTS"

The staff could be a little friendlier and more attentive to their guests' needs and questions. In addition, the rooms could use a little upkeep. There were water stains on the shower tiles. In general, I got the feeling that booking through this website was frowned upon and I was a less deserving guest.

Must have been recently remodeled. Room was bright ande nice. Front desk was very helpful...printed off my boarding passes.

Hyatt Regency Sarasota/Plane reservation
Ate in Dining facilities. First day food inedible. Wait staff very competent and nice. Room Service next morning: Breakfast_Oatmeal and Bagel very good. Dining room comp'd dessert as a result of bad experience. Registration staff, very nice. Room decor: leaved much to be desired. Room comfort: small, bed very comfortable. Room cleanliness: good Balcony view of Bay: good, had to request new room at first b/c a wall was blocking view of the bay. Bellman attended to having room changed. Accommodated without a problem. Hotel location: Just west of hotel, neighborhood questionable, was told not to get out of car in that neighborhood. Blocks the other direction provided for nice shops and upper priced restaurants. Plane was booked into Tampa...1 hour from Hotel, required renting a car and driving...not good. Sarasota airport only 10 minutes from Hotel. Recommend paying extra to fly into Sarasota. No amenities w/i walking distance.

Do not recommend eating a hotel. Breakfast buffet was quite delicious BUT COLD, not the quality one would reasonably expect from a Hyatt Hotel, known for their incredible breakfast buffets. This location's buffet was nothing more than a Hampton Inn, even though the quality of each item was A+. $20 for Breakfast Buffet.

Clean friendly hotel
Pleasant stay, no problems. Prompt service, friendly staff. Very clean hotel newly redecorated. Not directly on beach, but lovely marina view and balcony.

Great Location, great staff and restful
Staff very nice and courteous, attentive to resolving an issue in my room quickly. The hotel is in a great spot relative to Downtown Sarasota with nice views of the water from rooms. Will defintely stay here again!
