Holiday Inn Express SARASOTA-SIESTA KEY AREA

Our room was clean and did not have a bad odor at all. The bathroom was clean as well as all of the linens. The vanity area had granite counter tops and there was a huge big screen tv in the room. The pool area was very pretty and well kept and the pool itself was very clean. The best part was the FREE complimentary breakfast that is served daily. The breakfast has a bit of everything such as fresh pancakes, hot cinnamon rolls, bacon, sausage, eggs, omlettes, grits/oatmeal, juice, muffins, bagels, fruit, etc. And there is always plenty....no need to rush before they run out! I would definitely stay here again!!!

The room and the bathroom were smaller than expected. Bath & shower obviously very old. The beds were small but very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and everything was in working order - TV, microwave, fridge, elevator, ice & vending machines. The pool & jacuzzi were closed and locked at 10 pm, so there was no where to sit outside and chat with friends. We really wanted to go in the jacuzzi and feel the pool should stay open for over 18s until midnight. One of the most fun things about vacationing in Florida is swimming outside in the warm night air. This hotel is close to everything and very clean.

We only stayed one night, but the location was great with easy access to everything.

We were given a handicapped room and when we took a shower, the entire bathroom floor flooded. It was disgusting. The frig was dirty and the desk staff was of little help. Would never stay there again.

Being on the road for two weeks we stayed at many hotels. We would have to rank this hotel *1. The breakfast was great,the hotel staff goes out of its way ,the gardens and pool are so clean and of course the rooms are very nice.They have oranges and pop corn at the lobby at all times .Getting on the internet is easy not like many other hotels we stayed at.This is just one great place to stay

Although it was an older Holiday Inn Express, the staff was exceptional. We have stayed there before and always look forward to everyone, especially Mark. I would not hesitate to recommend staying there to anyone who asked.

I did not realize when booking this hotel it was one of the older hotels. The outside of the hotel reminded me of a shelter. The inside of the room was worse. The sheets had a bad odor and it was so unkempt. the rugs were stained and to say more the air conditioner would leak from the outside. My purpose in booking the hotel was due to the beaches that were near by, i guess? I thought this hotel had no features, basic and ugly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent location, very close to beautiful Siesta Key Beach and with many local business surrounding the hotel. Very decent swimming pool. Friendly front-desk people. The bad part is that rooms are equipped with double beds, if you plan to share a room with your children you better look for queen beds. The ugly part is that the rooms were not well kept or cleaned. That part is sad as except for that I would have rated the hotel with a 4 stars

The property was well kept and front desk was helpful. The description on Orbiz led me to believe it was a newer hotel. It said, new in 2009 executive suites. Did not like the outside doors. At 2:00 in the morning one night, some guys decided to talk loud right near our door.

clean hotel room with a decent breakfast in the morning that had all the usuals with a nice staff. the only down side is the hotel is next to a major through way and a noisy bar that has live bands with music played at maximum level.
