Safety Harbor Resort and Spa is located on 22 acres of pristine Florida waterfront overlooking Tampa Bay in the quaint Historic town of Safety Harbor. Just 15 minutes from both airports, the resort boasts 193 rooms, a huge spa and fitness center, three pools, two restaurants, a tiki bar, nine tennis courts, golf practice range, plus instruction and meeting space with an amphitheatre. Great Getaway!
Hotel was Fantastic! Stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was wonderful. Great restaurant, nightly dinner specials. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Long Weekend Stay for Less!
Stayed here from a Thursday night in May until sunday Night. Place was definietly as described and a great value for what we paid. Defnitely pay the extra $25 or so to get a poolside room with your own outdoor seating area..was a great plus! Liked the Free parking, Starbucks Cold Stone, and Pizzeria right across the street..Only about 15-20 easy drive to ClearWater Beach where we went to lay out everyday we were there.. Really like the Umbrella and Chair rental already setup on the beach for $20 a day..was great! Also, the parking lots were only about $16 for the day which was fair!

Roaches!
Upon entering the room we were confronted by a musty odor. Our room was on the first floor and it felt as if you were entering someone's basement. We went out to dinner and when we returned we found roaches in the bathroom. We also encountered roaches several more times during the night. We were very disappointed and will not be returning to this resort.

I decided to spend my 50th birthday at Safety Harbor and it was wonderful! The staff was great and the spa was awesome. I love the town too! Thank you so much!

safety harbor restort and spa
Would have been perfect....but...the bathroom's shower was the worst I have ever experienced. In my room the water was not hot, the plumbing fixture (shower) was not attached to the wall, (loose and jiggly) and water pressure was so poor I hesitated to wash my hair and try to get the shampoo out. Ice machine on my floor did not work during my stay. Beautiful room, patio, linen/towels, pool, fun tiki bar, granite and marble everywhere but a bad shower!

LOVED it
We stumbled upon this resort and spa and couldn't have been happier with our trip. The resort itself had more than we imagined- clean, big rooms, great water view, pools, fitness access and restaurants. Also, the town of Safety Harbor was adorable. We were lucky that there was an arts festival the weekend we were there- live music, vendors, and drinks. I can't wait to go back!!

Renting bikes was one of our favorite activities- there is a bike trail that takes you into Clearwater and Phillipe Park is beautiful to bike through.

highly disappointing.
Beautiful place. I had special plans for my stay, and when approaching the hotel, my hopes were high. However from the beginning, when my reservation wasnt' accounted for at the desk, I waited till a lesser room was made available. Then a 2 star meal disguised as 5 star. And it went downhill from there. Highly unhappy. the only thing saving this was the staff tried to make up for whatever negatives, unfortunately could not.
