Bare bones, but great location
We booked this hotel for the price and its proximity to amusement parks. It delivered on both of these. We were, however, very put off by the fact that the hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there, which wasn't mentioned anywhere on their website nor our booking website, resulting in loud machinery outside our window starting at 7 a.m..... This was pretty disappointing when we were trying to be enjoying a relaxing vacation.

Great location that's all folks
I purchased the suite that was a regular room with a dividing partition that had the sink and fridge. The buffet breakfast was horrible. I would not stay here again. :-(

Good Place to stay in Orlando
Staff was not friendly at all. Motel is getting an upgrade and you can only enter in on one side of the hotel. This means if your room is at one end you will have to walk all the way around the place to get to your room. The signs are misleading where the lobby actually is. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is good. Very close to attractions and esp. Universal.

RENNOVATIONS
I BOOKED THIS HOTEL WELL IN ADVANCE. THERE WAS NOTHING ABOUT THEM RENOVATING ON THE DATES THAT WE WERE THERE, OR ANY HEADS UP ABOUT THE POOL BEING CLOSED. IT WAS BAD, PPL WORKING IN THE LOBBY AND IN THE HALL WAYS LATE AT NIGHT AND VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING, COULDN'T SLEEP CUZ OF THE NOISE..WE HAD TO GET OUR ROOM CHANGED WHEN WE ARRIVED CUZ THE ROOM THEY GAVE US STUNK SO BAD..JUST KIND OF A BAD EXPERIENCE;(

One night stay
Repairs were being done so it was hard to find out where to go to check in. Also, since I was only staying the night I did not think I should have to pay the extra $5 they required for use of shuttles, phones, etc. I did not use any of them, but they would not return the fee.

under supplied
When needing an extra pillow for the pullout sofa. There was none. Pullout bed was torn. For the price it was not worth it. Felt miss led in the disriptions.

Ok if you just want to crash for the night. The room and hallway carpet is very old. The beds were old with saggy mattresses.

One Day Stay at the Floridian
Staff were accommodating. Since it was Christmas, staffing was minimal. Had to go to front desk for extra towels and pillows. Room was large. Old TV, some light bulbs out, continental breakfast served from 6am to 9am. Coffee available at all times. Coffee maker in room, no creamer packs, no refrigerator in room. Our stay was for only one night and main purpose was for the family of four to sleep and shower. For that, it served its purpose at a reasonable rate. I would go back if the rates were competitive.
