The Floridian Hotel and Suites

This hotel was nothing as described on your website. It was dirty and the staff was unhelpful. We had to change rooms twice. The junior suite does not contain 2 queen beds...but one queen bed and a sofa. The sofa mattress was absolutely horrible!!

Maid service very inconsistent. They not once in there nights get everything in the room that was supposed to be there... towels, coffee, etc.

Our first night was ok, the front desk girl was kind although made fun of the guest while on the phone in front of other guests.... (glad i was there and not on the other end of the phone) I was really hoping for a hot tub to relax in after our long drive. The part that has and will stick in my mind was the nasty girl at the desk the day we were leaving. She was very rude and demeaning. The day of my ck out; IK came down to the lobby, dressed in my appropriate sleep wear, maybe she thought little of me. I am an owner of a bank and have had my troubled teanage tellers have stronger personal skills then this indiviual. I must say that It was 10:07am when i went down stairs, as breakfast was completed by this time an entire 7 minutes. I did ask if there was anyway that I could get a bagel. She proceeded to tell me that breakfast was over. That explanation would have been ok with me, however, she proceeded to make a few unneccessary comments. These comments were in the most Rude Manner, I left shocked! I can not see how anyone with such poor customer service skills would be able to deal with the public not to mention represent a hotel. I am very upset and disaapointed to say the least! I then went over to the computer to pick up my email before I hit the road, only to find that it was down. She again, could not help and offered no alternatives to my solution. Would YOU refer or stay at this hotel again? I certainly would not. Lets see if the hotel GM cares enough to respond. The lady at the front desk was nice enough about checking me in early. She checked to see if they had a clean room and I was thrilled when she said they did. Wonder what her standards of "clean" are... the floor looked so dingy that my husband and I didn't want to put our baby on the floor to crawl. There were holes in the comforter on one bed and in the blanket of the other. There was also a hole in the shower curtain and paint peeling in the bathroom. The "hot" breakfast was a joke. The cereal container was harder to crack into than Fort Knox and the juice was terrible quality. For a hotel that claims to be part of the wyndham family, I was appalled! No one asked me how our stay was upon check-out and I'm glad they didn't... I hate confrontation.

Hotel was old and run down, we were only staying over 1 night so it wasn't worth changing hotels. Only good thing about the place is that it was 1 mile from Universal in Orlando. Unfortunately I gave the entire staff a bad rating because of the 1 nasty girl at the front desk when we checked in. NASTY, NASTY UGLY GIRL - SHE NEEDS TO GET IN CHECK WITH HER "HOW TO BE NICE TO CUSTOMERS" SKILLS - AWFUL

When we first got to Orlando we had a lot of trouble finding the hotel. They changed their name from Baymont to The Floridian. The lobby of the hotel is nice. They have a nice pool. But the rooms are bad quality. It looks like a motel. They really need to remodel. They only have a shuttle to Universal it leaves early at 8:15 (also around 11)and picks you up around 6:30. They need more shuttle times. They should also offer a shuttle to Disney. The continental breakfast was good. The wireless internet seemed to not work while I was there.

with this hotel that is a true statement. its a cheap price and boy does it show. great location however the rooms; the stinch in the hallway. urgh.,. i paid a little bit more and stayed across the street.

the staff was very nice however the rooms where disgusting! I didn't what to walk barefoot in the rooms.

We found a roach in the bathroom during the daytime so you can imagine how many may lurk behind the walls and then we were talking to other guests and they said that same thing. The employees were nice but the ROACHES gotta go.
