It was just okay
The hotel was not the cleanest. The beds had very thin mattresses. The staff was nice enough. I did not consider it a 3 star, 2 at best.

cheap and clean
Not a luxury hotel, but if your adventure happens out at the parks, you'll sleep just fine here.

What else do you expect for the price!
Clean....nothing spectacular, but what can you expect for the price. It was good for what we needed, just a place to sleep. Location was good, really close to Universal. The breakfast was nothing special. Minimal pillows in the rooms. Overall, just okay

Perfect for our Weekend Trip
Hotel was clean and comfortable, my child love it. We did not spend much time in the room as we were seeing the sights, but it served its purpose for being comfortable and located very close to all the Theme Parks. We would stay here again. Big Breakfast selection.

You get exactly what you pay for.
My husband and I decided that were going to try a cheap trip to Disney World and Universal. I read all the reviews before making a decision to stay at this hotel, so I already knew that many people had looked unfavorably on this property. I also knew that I was saving at least $350 a night by staying there. Overall, for the $40+ a night we stayed there, we got exactly what we paid for: A room, a bed, and a shower. The free breakfast is frozen baked goods that you can warm up in their broken toasters. And the walls are PAPER thin. One enormous plus is: A TON OF PARKING and 5 minutes from Universal Studios and 20 minutes drive from Disney.

Close to Universal
Location was perfect for visiting Universal. The room rate was much lower compared to other hotels in the immediate area. The room was clean. Nothing fancy but comfortable. It was nice to have two queen size beds instead of full size like most hotels. The breakfast area was crowded around the peak time of 8AM on Sunday and was not set up to flow well but overall fine. I would stay here again.

up to snuff would stay there again
Clean, comfortable beds, nice people, great breakfast. you can tell it is an older hotel they bought out and remodeled... but for the price it was a bargain. Close to all the orlando attractions. If I were paying 60-70 a night I would expect more but for $40 a night it was wonderful. I have been in other baymonts that were built by them (much nicer) but for an older hotel it is very nice. walls are a bit thin so if you get noisey neighbors I would ask for a different room.

Hotel was clean and room was as expected
Close to Universal Studio theme park. Older hotel that met the need with a good breakfast to boot. I'd stay there again.

Orlando is tough to navigate at night. Universal really turns you around coming and going so getting confused about where you need to go is easy to happen. The good news is that everything is in a pretty tight area so even if you get turned around you will find you way eventually. Relax, you'll get there!

Mostly just fine, unclean breakfast area
Overall the hotel was fine, the breakfast area was a little unclean feeling. A false firm alarm evacuated the hotel at 3 AM-that made for a restless night.
