Disney/ Universal Trip
When we first got to Orlando we had a lot of trouble finding the hotel. They changed their name from Baymont to The Floridian. The lobby of the hotel is nice. They have a nice pool. But the rooms are bad quality. It looks like a motel. They really need to remodel. They only have a shuttle to Universal it leaves early at 8:15 (also around 11)and picks you up around 6:30. They need more shuttle times. They should also offer a shuttle to Disney. The continental breakfast was good. The wireless internet seemed to not work while I was there.

My experience...
It was an awful experience, first because when i arrived, the girl at the lobby told me that I hadn't any reservation. She never wanted to see my printed confirmation (already paid), and her way to address to me and attitude weren't helpfull. After 20 min trying to understand what was the problem, i asked for a manager and this last girl (blonde) it was who resolved so disagreeable situation. After receive the room, i received a room for smokers, and i had asked non-smoker room. Again I had to beg (literally) for changing the room asigned. I doubt come back again bye.

Average hotel
The hotel was basic, the air conditioning didn't work that well and the website advertised the hotel having a shuttle service to universal studios, which was not the case!!!! The hotel next door has a shuttle which we had to take. I will not be using this hotel and would not recommend it.

OK Value for the price
The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant. The bed was not comfortable at all and the hallway was a little noisy.

Good location
If your lazy get a hotel on the strip, as this one is five minutes off IDrive, which I feel is ideal! Rooms are clean / tidy and cleaned every day I had junior suite with sitting area which suited my needs perfectly.

good hotel would stay here again
nice rooms, cold air, working wireless internet, friendly staff...only thing they didnt have was a microwave and small refridgerator...and the free breakfast didnt look that great in my opinion...but its typical continental breakfast. overall im well satisfied.

Great Family Getaway
The hotel is great. It has all the amenities needed for people traveling with kids. Located nearby theme parks, also withing walking distance of restaurants and shops. The staff is very professional and very reasonable rates. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Excellent choice for the money
The Baymont Inn and Suites is a great value. Close to Universal, easy access to shops and other area attractions. The staff was friedly, helpful and courtious. The room (I was upgraded to a Suite)was clean and comfortable. I'll stay there again when I come back during my annual pass trips to Universal.

baymont inn
it was an ok hotel, one of the beds was broken and leaning to the left, not comfortable at all, and we could hear people walking around above us all night long, either there was a 500lb person up there walking on their heels or the rooms are not ver insulated. It WAS NOT close to old town, which i was told it was when we booked it... but it is within walking distance to alot of nice resturants and attractions. we only stayed one night and went to disney early the next morning.
