Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Convention Center

Great location, meal for breakfast & supper during the week, heated pool, friendly staff & residents! Close to Disney World and Lakeland (Tiger's Spring site). Plenty of restaurants nearby (walking distance even), 2 bed rooms with full kitchen. People actually live here year round!

3 nights in Orlando for a trade show. Big, Clean room. 5 pilliows on the bed. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Couch and desk too. Big Flat Screen TV. 40 plus channels. Due to remodeling we were given vouchers for breakfast at Denny's which was walking distance. Bonus.. Location was very close to Convention Center. Easy getting to the West Hall. Also hotel is very close to several restaurants on International Drive. (i.e. Pointe Plaza has 8-10 to choose from#. Other than an noisy A/C handler #Room 202) I'll be back next year. Great Value. And a shot out to the Staff. Very nice group with a lot of energy.

Very nice, good location and nice staff and very friendly people and my kids love it and the morning breakfast.

It was a nice, well maintained hotel. They upgraded my room for free which was a nice surprise. The one thing I didn't like was there breakfast set up. The way it's layed out, it's hard to set your plate down to fill it up, and there was more then one person who ended up dropping their plates.

On the positive side, the Marriott Residential Inn at the Orlando Convention Center was great. The room was clean and was kept that way by a very friendly staff who we even left a generous tip to. We saved SO much money by taking advantage of the FREE breakfast buffet. We had it every morning and the selection was great. The do it yourself waffles and sausage patties were my favorites. Overall the 2 bedroom room felt a little smaller than others I have stayed at, but it was nevertheless comfortable. The full kitchen was fantastic, but I wish they had more dishes and silverware available. The location was perfect for our needs, very close to Universal and Sea world, but a bit of a drive to the Disney Parks. There was a major grocery store just down the road that was great for stocking the full kitchen. The only bad note was I reserved a rollaway bed and when I got there they didn't have it for me for the whole period of our stay. 2 of my kids had to share the 2nd bedroom Queen bed which they didn't like but survived.

We actually were able to walk to our favorite restaurant, The Bahama Breeze. There was no hassel finding parking space. It was also close to the Convention Center which was important to me. I liked the fact that the bedroom was separate from the seating area. This was not true of our recent stay at the Residence Inn in Erie, Pa. That was a disappointment. I did feel however, there should have been more elevators. We waited a long time for one on several occasions.
