Radisson Hotel Orlando - International Drive

The hotel is in a great location on International Drive. While not an actual 4-star resort, its a 3.5 star hotel that is a great value if you are looking for a clean place to stay in a good location. The room (king with 2 TVs) was very large and spacious. There are tons of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Be sure to stay in the new tower. Radisson also owns the Metropolitan Resort next door and its old and dated. Spend the few extra dollars and stay next door at the Radisson.

There is nothing outstanding about this hotel (good or bad). It met the needs of cleanliness, the staff was pleasant enough and the grounds seemed well kept. The location was easy to get to and around a lot of restaurants and the convention center. The area in general seemed safe. The one negative is that the walls of the hotel room are a little thin and if you are a light sleeper and the room next to you are night owls, it will really be bothersome. But there is nothing remarkable about this hotel.

Defintitely not a 3.5 star, maybe a 3 star hotel but it is run down, the room keys didnt work so they switched me to a bigger room. NIce TV's but several channels didnt work. Bathroom had a terrible mold/bleach smell. Toilet does not flush properly. Entire breakfast from room service was dried out and overcooked. Overdone eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. Room service was delivered without silverware or condiments. Internet is slow and disconnects constantly. This is not a resort, it is a small hotel that is run down and smells bad. If you are just going to sleep in the room and it is cheap then try it but otherwise you should avoid it.

The hotel was excellent and very good value. The staff was most gracious. The location is very handy to both Universal, which can be accessed by a cheap and convenient trolley (IRide), and Disney parks. I certainly would want to go there again!

The only negative comment I have is that the ice machine on the seventh floor never produced any more than a few pieces of ice. I always had luck with the ice machine on the ground floor. The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself was fine, but our sheets needed changing and it wasn't done. Sugar substitute needed replenishing and that wasn't done. Didn't think the binder with hotel info was that informative.

The location is very good and most of the staff (especially the guys during evening and night) are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a buffet which is important for me. I cannot live on cup cakes and coffee everyday as breakfast. The wireless internet connection is poor. If you are there for a business trip, it can be disturbing. There is a $10cost per night for parking, access to YMCA Aqua, .. whether you use it or not. You need to click on the hotel details to see this additional cost!

The hotel is OK...but the shuttle stinks!!!! Please do not rely on the shuttle service...They say they have a shuttle, but then they did not mention that it runs only once a day to these parks... and that too for universal and Seaworld way too late... The universal shuttle is scheduled at 9:20, but never shows up before 9:45-50... The seaworld is scheduled at 10:40 in the morning..r u kidding me?? the park open at 9:00 And on the day we wanted to go to seaworld, the shuttle did not even come...we waited till 11:15 and finally had to take out car..( luckily we had rented a car as well..) The front desk has not idea how the or who to contact for the shuttle whereabouts...they were like.. I am calling transportation, but then they had no idea who the driver was and who they were to contact.... we literally ended up wasting 3 hrs...( as by the time with the parking we reached the park at 12:00) It really stinks with that..... Good luck with it...
