Value hotel in Orlando offers free shuttle to main Disney theme parks
The Orlando Vista Hotel targets families visiting Walt Disney World Resort. What I Expected
The hotel is old, and the carpets show just how old. The elevators are sketchy and the furnishings/lighting fixtures are dated. The room was a good size and contained an iron and ironing board. It did smell a bit musty- like an attic. The carpet felt weird (like it didn't dry all the way after a shampooing- which I doubt they've done in the past few years) so I wore shoes the entire time. The pillows were very uncomfortable but the bed was fine. Hotel breakfast smelled good, but I didn't eat it. Pool looked clean. Staff was very friendly. With how close it is to Disney and other dining, I can ignore it's age and sleep in my own sleeping bag on top of the bed for this price. It's a good deal of you don't really care and spend the majority of your time in the parks/city.

Short drive from hotel
Don't cut through Hotel Blvd or Downtown Disney to get to the parks. Take I-4 towards Tampa. The very next exit gets you right there. No red lights and not as much traffic.

Great Value and Location
We were spending the weekend at Disney World and this hotel was a great price and in a great location. It's not extremely nice, but it's clean, has a good staff, and what more do you need when you are spending all day at the parks anyway?

Second time here
Second time on this hotel. I was here back in 2010.Location is great next to downtown disney. people book it fast , it is not always available. we got lucky and got one of the few balcony rooms great view.Good overall.

Misleading and no customer service
I completed my res online when I got there I had to wait due to a fax not rec'd, once I checked in I was told there was no smoking but there was an option of smoking and non smoking online when I booked and payed, smh and I was simply blown off after mentioning it. Horrible cust service, staff needs an update!!!

Disney family vacation
Shuttles provided quick service to and from disney parks. Walking distance to many chain restaurants. Continental breakfast is very basic. Rooms are clean. Pool and hot tub were great after a long day of walking. Great for a family on a budget.

Not a nice place
There is no way this hotel should get a 3 star rating. The carpet in the halls was stained and old, the room was really shabby, especially the bathroom, with chipped paint, dirty walls and old fixtures. The desk staff was polite but would not let me park in the only space near the door (reserved for "employee of the year") at 1:30 am even though I was alone with a child and was leaving at 4:30 am for a flight. It is listed as a Disney "friendly neighbor" hotel but I would never stay there again.

No Internet
When I book my hotel I always ask for "Internet" + "Fitness room" .. and sometimes for "airport shuttle" In this case: Internet was available only in the lobby (Very noisy, a lot of families, impossible to work) "Fitness room" was only 1 machine "Shuttle" to/from airport was $34.00 The rooms where "OK", but the aisles had a bad smell! Thank you

Needs to be a 1 star max. This hotel needs to be demoed and rebuilt.
I will never stay here again. The hot water was not working toilets did not Flush right and the sink has a hair clog Did not drain. My towels had hair knots already in them.
