Hyatt Place Orlando Universal

Exceptional in every way, would stay again, without a doubt.

Ample rooms, but the a/c a little noisy. Clean. Elevators slow and old. Breakfast buffet very good.

Fantastic experience. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Room was spacious with comfortable beds. Extensive breakfast offerings. 15 minute walk to Universal parks. Only negative was occasional wait for the elevator. Would stay here again.

Amy at front service was wonderful with my kids and myself. The place was very clean and this hotel is just across the street from universal.

If you're thinking about taking the family, the wife or the girlfriend to the theme parks, Hyatt Place is a perfect spot to stay. The rooms are much larger than I anticipated, the staff is friendly.... Must be that "Disney Training" (all smiles and warm greetings). I rate it a 5 out of 5.

It was super as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by a young lady named April. She was very considerate and courteous and a pleasure to deal with. The stay was great and service exceptional. We were about 10 minutes from our destination at the Orlando Convention Center but it was worth it. Will check if out again in the near future

Good spot if your going to Universal Studios, Florida

room was noisy could hear people talking outside, bathroom was small and found a lizard in the room. Food was good.

I stay at the Hyatt Place one or two nights every three months. After attending a week long business meeting, I wind down and rest before returning to regular working hours. There is an excellent hot breakfast, a clean room, wireless connection in the room and excellent location near shopping and restaurants.

Good location directly across from the entrance of Universal. The shuttle to Universal was very minimal - 8:00 AM and 9:15 AM in the morning, returns at 5 PM and 7:30 PM. In the morning the lobby doubles as the restaurant where complimentary breakfast is served - as a result, it is very hard to hear the announcement for the shuttle because it is very loud. Be vigilant or you will miss it like we did! The hotel did offer to pay for a cab for us, though, as a courtesy. Because the shuttle was so minimal we wound up having to use a cab fairly often to get to CityWalk. The room was clean and modern with very nice amenities and shower products. However, the bed was VERY hard and lumpy. The pillows desperately needed to be replaced. The staff was very courteous and seemed to be genuine when engaging people in conversation. My boyfriend forgot his toothbrush and I called to the desk late in the evening around 11:30, 12 AM. They brought one up promptly. Not sure I would stay here again because the bed was terrible and the shuttle wasn't very good. I had to spend taxi fare to get to CityWalk which kinda defeated the purpose of staying at a hotel with a shuttle. Had I done more research I probably would not have stayed there based upon the shuttle, and the lumpy bed sealed the deal.
