The maid left me a note, welcoming me. That set the tone for my visit. The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of several local restaurants, pharmacys and a few small grocery stores. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to several of the major parks as well as a local bus system that you can ride for a small fee. The hotel concierge desk provides a map of the stops on the local bus line. My sister and I went to the CSI experience on the local bus system with no difficulty. Ripley's Believe It or Not and Sea World were also destinations on the routes. The bed was comfortable. The full kitchen was convenient. The maid even washed my dishes for me daily, which was a pleasant surprise. The daily free breakfast and the evening offering of a small meal, Monday through Thursday was a money-saver. Be sure to go early for breakfast and the afternoon offering because the food goes fast. The laundry had several machines out of commission but since most of the other guests were not using this service, I had no difficulty doing my laundry there. The printer for the computer malfunctioned when I was trying to print my boarding passes but the front desk staff were happy to print them at the front desk for me. The staff was helpful and professional consistently. They permitted early check-in and late check-out if they were able and held luggage before check-in and after check-out. They even had a Ms. PacMan arcade machine there which I enjoyed using. I would highly recommend this facility for a vacation or a business stay.

Located in easy walking distance of restaurants, several pharmacys and small grocery stores, made it easy, for people like me, who did not rent a car. There is also a local bus system which will transport you for a minimal fee ($1.25 one way ) as well as free transport to a few of the parks from the hotel. My sister and I went to a nearby CSI experience per the local bus system without difficulty. There were other popular stops on the system such as Sea World and Ripley's Believe It or Not museum. The bed was comfortable. The full kitchen was helpful. My maid washed any dishes I used everyday, which was a pleasant surprise. The laundry was minimal, and several machines were broken but I managed to do my laundry without difficulty since most guests were not using this service. There were problems with printing from the hotel computer when I was trying to print my boarding passes for my flight but the staff at the front desk cheerfully offered to print them for me which was a great help. The daily breakfast 7 days a week and the evening entree Monday throught Thursday saved me some money and were very popular. My advice though is to go early to breakfast and to the afternoon offering because they do disappear pretty quickly. The staff at the front desk were consistently helpful and professional. They did allow early check-in and late check-out if they were able and would hold luggage before check-in and after check-out whenever requested. They even had a few arcade game machines like Miss Pacman. I highly recomment this hotel and would happily stay there again.

This hotel was great. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. There were 8 girls all getting ready at the same time with enough room to do so. The beds were so comfortable. It is conviently located to Point Orlando and plenty of restaurants. Lots of stuff within walking distance for a friend get away or a family vacation.

Spent the weekend in universal and had a blast. The place was close by but closer to lots of restaurants and night life. The pillows could have been a little more comfortable but overall the room was fantastic.

We had a wonderful time in Orlando. Everyone was very friendly and helpful during are stay in Orlando.

The hotels in this stretch of International Drive are set well back from the main road and are initially difficult to locate. The main desk guided me in and I had no trouble after that. I asked for a quiet room at check-in and got it. I knew my family would be exhausted each evening after all day at the theme parks. The free theme park shuttle service generally has two morning departures and two evening returns which run mostly on schedule. I drove one day as we wanted to stay until the park closed extra late. The road network in this area is well marked and easy to navigate. Restaurants and a national chain drugstore open 24 hours/7 days a week are within walking distance.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Homewood Suites simply to 'get away' for a few days. It's location is perfect. It's not right on the main road, which can make it harder to find at first, but it also reduces road noise when in the actual hotel. The staff was wonderful! We even managed to check in an hour and a half before the offical 4PM check in time. The room was always kept clean, and the complimentary breakfast was nice as well! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be in the center of all that Orlando has to offer without dealing with the normal insanity of a 'city stay'. 4 Stars!

Really pleased with the week's stay and the complimentary Full breakfast and lite pm dinners, including the beverages. Saves a lot of time and money.
