Great Family Getaway!
My family recently stayed at this hotel from 4/15-20 and enjoyed every minute of it. Great location to downtown disney and also really close to the theme parks. on site applebees was a okay choice for dinner (especially since kids eat free) There were also a ihop, and denny's that made an excellent breakfast option. Wendy's is also across the street and there is a dollar tree down the street to service all of your needs. Will definately stay again next year.

our first disney vacation 2012
our hotel stay was good,when we first got there we had a few issues with our room but once that was resolved our hotel stay was good.The biggest problem was the shuttle service that don't have enough shuttles to take people to the parks so i would suggest renting a car and not to mention that if your a minute late they will leave you,I didn't think that was right being that this is a tourist area and the most "MAGICAL" place on earth you should be a little more caring instead of being a jerk. but other then that I would recommend this hotel.

Close to Disneyworld
No free beakfast. not even continental ....and extra $12 per day charge for parking is insulting! Otherwise the room was large enough for wheelchair/scooter accessible and clean.

Good 1st time experience
My experience at the hotel was good, the bed was comfortable, they had a fridge so I brought a huge pack of water bottles at the 7-11 next door so I could store my water bottles to prepare for our trips to the disney parks. The pool was great, they had different activities every hours, they had pool theater where you could watch movies on the big screen and chill out in the pool or the lounge chair, they also had live musicians come out and sing. they have and arcade, and kids movie theater to keep the kids busy....the applebees next door is good not great but convienent. The things I didnt like is that they dont change the bed sheets there was a red stain on my bed sheet, that was disgusting!!hair was on the bathroom floor housekeeping sucks!I my room was next to the entrance door so you can hear ppl slide their hotel room card throught the door and you would hear a clicking sound allllllll night, felt like someone was trying to come into my room wont be back next time but all in all was a good expeirence for first trip besides the horrible housekeeping

W e liked the hotel; but the elevator is very slow; and, when we checked out, we had to carry all our luggages down stairs from the 6th floor because the elevator was not working, We were happy with their shuttle services to the main attractions there and their on time performances.

Very family oriented spot.
The man at the pool is amazing with the children. We actually talked about coming again with our whole family, kids and grandkids. They would love it. We were close to everything we would want and the rooms were very clean the staff was attentive. It was just a pleasure. My husband and I have been to the area 14 times, this was a first for just the 2 of us. Our 35th anniv. We loved the resort. Thank you!!

Great getaway
Leaving the the winter weather of Maine we felt so very welcomed by the employees at the Holiday Inn Resort. They helped us find the perfect room with the perfect view. Can not wait till March 2013 when we travel back to our yearly vacation in Florida. And because of how we are treated we will be back to the RESORT!!!!

Excellent
My wife and two kids stayed here, kids 8 and 6 and this was perfect , the room was clean large very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and very clean, overall I have no complaints what so ever, I do recommend this hotel very courteous staff, plenty or kids to do, pool large and clean. Applebees next to hotel where kids eat free'
