Basic cheap and chearful hotel.
Basic cheap and chearful hotel. Not sure if I would want a full two week vacation here, but it was ideal, perfect even for a couple of nights, right beside Universal and City walk.

Complete Waste of Money
The room was not ready at 4:00 p.m. It was supposed to be non-smoking but wreaked of smoke. The A/C faceplate was completely off of the unit and when we turned it on it was so loud it made the walls of the room vibrate. The 2nd room we were given (because the king size bed rooms weren't completely cleaned)had two double beds that were more like over-sized twins. There was mildew in the shower, the fire sprinklers in the room were completely rusted and corroded. The walls were stained, the A/C faceplate was falling off, rust was all over the hinges. I recommend you don't stay here or at least don't book online with Orbitz because you won't get a refund for a hotel that needs serious renovation and care.

Great Location
The price per night is great, fast service and few mins (5mins) away from the Universal Studios. Hungry? There is a TGIF right next to the hotel.

Close to Universal Orlando
This Holiday Inn is very close to Universal Studios-Orlando which made it nice to visit this theme park to go early and stay late. TGI Friday's is park of the hotel which made getting meals convenient. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the ice machine on my floor was not working and one of the sinks drained very slowly. But most of the other ammenities were nice. Having a free shuttle to some of the nearby attractions was a nice service.

Very near of Universal Studios
the hotel is very near of the entrance of Universal Studios and has an excellent shuttle services. the room is very confortable and clean. In general was an excellent experience for me and my family.
