2nd time around couple
Family of 6's home for 4 nights!!!
We enjoyed our stay and will stay again when in the Orlando area. No complaints at all. Staff was friendly, check in and out were quick, and loved the staff at the guest services. Sad about the TGIF services though. Kids eat free but don't drink free!!! Loved the hotel and stay!

Father/Daughter Universal trip
Hotel location could not be better! Easy walk to/from Universal Studios every day. Usually walked back from the park after it closed and walk back to hotel has decent lighting. TGIF is attached to the hotel, and kids under 12 eat free with adult meal purchase. MAKE SURE TO GET COUPON AT HOTEL FRONT DESK FOR KIDS MEAL. Breakfast buffet has a very good selection. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a 2 queen room and it was very spacious and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Universal studios is about 1/2 mile walk from the hotel, so no need for rental car or taxi. Well lit sidewalks all the way from the hotel to the amusement park.

Internet is very very poor
1. Cleanliness was Ok. I used to find hair on the edge of the bath tub. 2. Internet was very bad. When I told to the staff about it, they were asking me to call the internet company and resolve it.

Tabla... a very good indian restaurant, just a walk away from the hotel. Very affordable Indian food and very tasty too

Great Location for Universal!
This is our second time staying at Holiday Inn Universal main gate. It is now updated and looks modern. Enough amenities for its star class and value. I defintely recommend this hotel for Universal visitors and shopping at Millenia Mall and Prime outlets. TGI fridays in the hotel is also a bonus..

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and everything worked fine and the location was great. I chose it because it is right across the street from Universal Studios. The only thing that i had a problem with was as soon as you step off the elevator to the second floor it smelled like a wet basement! The room wasn't as bad but i thoroughly sprayed it with Lysol and then it was o.k. I'm pretty sure a good carpet cleaning would do the trick! I would definitely stay there again.

Family Vacation with Kids from 6-14 years
Hotel is on an excelent location. Its a short walk to Universal Orlando. Room suite is okay, beds and pillows are comfortable. It was clean and smell good. Bathroom is too small. Our toilet clogged during the night and they gave us a new room. Pool is nice. At the hotel there is a TGI Fridays Rest where kids eat free. Its a great hotel for a family vacation

Practical, Functional and Convenient
For anyone with families, I have three kids and they eat free at the TGI adjoining the hotel! Shuttles are dependable and very easy to use, just book at the desk downstairs for the day before. The I Ride takes you all over international ride and is really cheap and simple. The drivers are really helpful. Shuttle to seaworld as well. Forget the useless add ons at extra cost. I don't go on vacation to stay in the hotel. The hotel pool is open late as well. Really satisfied and will definitely stay there next year when I visit.

Prime Outlet, NOT premium Outlet! Best prices and just hop on the I Ride outside the hotel. Dependable and convenient. Cost three dollars for two adults return. Kids ride free!
