spur of the moment
We decided last minute to go to Orlando. Booked the room quickly. Check in was fast. Our first room was not clean, so we almost just drove home. Spoke the staff up front. They were very comforting, moved us to a new room that was clean. From there the stay was great. So overall stay was good and would recommend and go back.

It's Just Okay
I give it top rating for cleanliness. However, no safe in room and front desk safe does not accomodate ipads, or kindles. It only fits ipods or iphones, so you must carry around your expensive gadgets. No fun when you are walking in the blazing heat and your gadgets are heavy. Also, no mini fridge. Staff is awesome, especially Jade. She was very, very helpful. I got locked out of my room for about 45 minutes after a day at Universal and dog tired because the lock became deprogrammed. The breakfast is very good and nice selection of foods. Coffee is available 24 hours a day. Overall it's okay.

Very acceptable stay
Check in was not as streamlined as it could be. Only one person handling a line six deep. However, the team member could have been more poised and courteous. Not a great idea for this poor guy to have run a line six deep (and he did it flawlessly) and answer room calls to the front desk. Room cleanliness ok, but not great. I stayed for five nights and the room was only "cleaned" once...beds were made daily. Location very good and lots of conveniences were located in immediate proximity. Check out experience was very positive.

A good HI Express
Can't beat the cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Small room, but very functional. Could use more electrical access near the beds.

I just kmow I had a good time those two days...
Well in my opinion I felt confortable everything was clean. The stores, and restaurants was closer to the hotel.... So i hope to go back and I want to feel the same as the second time that I visit Orlando... :)..

Great location for Universal
Fantastic location. Literally could've walked to the parks everyday. The hotel was pretty average, though that isn't meant to sound negative. There was nothing amazing but also nothing to really complain about. Would recommend if going to the parks and looking for a reasonable price.

Great for College Budget
This hotel was very affordable for a college budget! Plus, my friends and I felt very safe! The hotel was clean and provided a free breakfast. It had no thrills or frills-- very basic but served its purpose. The best part about it was the free shuttle to Universal Studios. It was very convenient and only took five minutes to get there!
