Not as expected
Had a first bad experience with front desk. Tried to charge us an upgrade fee for no reason whatsoever. Also charged 10.00 per night for fridge for baby's food. Hilton in downtown Orlando is 100 percent better and does not charge for fridge for baby's food. Floors needs to be updated. T.V.s in rooms need to be bigger (again comparing it to Hilton Double Tree in Downtown Orlando).

Not Impressed
We were a bit disappointed with our room at this hotel. We arrived to find out that our room had an outside entrance (like a motel). When we walked in our room, our bathroom floor was extremely dirty. We called and asked if we could switch rooms and be in the main part of the hotel (referred to as the tower). They said it would be a charge. We then just asked for our floor to be re-cleaned. We left and came back about 2 hours later and the floor appeared as if it had not been cleaned. When we called, they said someone had been there, but would send someone again. Housekeeping showed up and re-did the floor. The foom also smelled incredibly bad. I do not recommend this hotel.

Great overnight stay
I booked this as a last minute get away for my husband and I. The rooms were average but the location was great and the pools and gruonds had a lot of family activities. I also loked they had a seperate kids pool so that when we wanted to lay by the adult pool, it was quiet. The staff was very helpful; however the hotel was booked full and we had to wait in line almost 20 min to check in and to check out. Some additioanl desk help would have been nice. Overall, I would certainly book there again.

MY SONS GRADUATION CELEBRATION
First of all, the picture is not where your staying, it's a family resort that is on a 3 star rating. They (doubletree) sold us 2 tickets to Universal Studio for a total of $208, which they said included the shuttle to and fro. NOT TRUE AT ALL! The shuttle never arrived when we notified the front desk, they said the shuttle was free anyway. The staff was not moved, the hotel was noisy and don't drink the water in your room, all that is extra it's not a welcome refreshment at all. The coffee pot in our room was not working either.

Good Location but not much more.
Reserved non smoking room in main tower but thats not what we got. The room was really not good and the smoke smell was even worse. No other rooms available to switch to so we were stuck with it. Also never expected to pay $15 a day for parking and then have no spots to park in close to where the room was.

great location
Great location. Comfortable and very clean. Staff very helpful. Didn't like having to pay for parking and it didn't say on site. A little noisy but we have a sound machine so it helped. Overall a good experience.

Not excited
I chose this hotel for the name and the value altogether ( there were a lot cheaper hotels in the area) because I trusted Hilton would be good. A total disappointment! The lobby is has an old smell, the soda machines were sold out (only water), the parking charge, $15.00 per day was not stated when I made the online booking.. Breakfast is not included either, they charge $16.95 for the buffet, so watch your budget if you are going. The room was and the location was good, close to main roads, but a know I could have gotten a better value in a different hotel. I will definitively not coming back.
