Days Inn Orlando Universal Maingate

Light at sink not working,musty odor.bed uncomfortable.

Good value for location. Hotel is not particularly special but could not be more convenient to Universal. It would have been nice to have breakfast price included but there are places to eat conveniently located.

The staff at this hotel was great they handled our needs very well the rooms were clean the Wi-fi could've been better it didn't work very well but overall the location was amazingly convenient and it was a very pleasant comfortable inexpensive stay.

Great location for going to Universal Resorts. Just wish they had a coffee maker in room or free coffee in lobby in the morning. Beds were old and not comfortable. Will stay again for the value and closeness to Universal. Great pool

When i first walked into the room it felt like i was staying in a room in India or Africa. From the bedding to the furniture it gave you a theme which i enjoyed. The beds were super comfy and the pillows i couldve melted in. Most hotels give you two pillows, this one gave you 5 per bed. It was great. I had a one and a million problem when i was there though. The bathroom ceiling in the shower started to leak and chunks of the ceiling started to fall into the tub. I called the front desk and in minutes maintenance was there to fix it. The front desk informed me id be getting a discount on the room. I figured $20 or so off the bill. When i checked out at the end of the weekend i was informed my entire stay would be refunded. I was shocked! The customer service is incredible. Not to mention the walking distance to City Walk and other resturants. Im going to stay there again!!

While it is nicely positioned near the Universal theme parks, the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired...and with so many other hotels in the immediate area (and also within walking distance), I would only recommend staying here if saving that $25 or so dollars a night makes or breaks your vacation.

The staff from the time I got there was very rude. I had made reservations the for three nights, and the night I arrived I was going to check in at I got there and hour before 4:00 which was check in and they would not let me put my bag in the room . The wedding party I was with had to stay out late that night so I was not able to check in . So the next day I show up the day of the wedding and was not able to check into my room again because they sold it the night before . I was charged for the night before even though I wasn't there and someone else stayed in my room . I had 8 mins to get ready for my best friends wedding . I Also booked for two double beds and they gave me one king size . I talked to the desk three times and they kept passing me off to the next person .

In my 30 years on this earth, this is the most disguisting place I have ever slept, or showered in. I know its cheap, and close to city walk, but it is not worth it. The white bathtub was covered in black mold. The sheets smelled like they hadn't been washed. DONT DO IT!!!!!!

Wanted a reasonably cheap place to sleep and that is exactly what we got. Comfortable beds, clean room and not noisy.

rooms were clean and spacious. There was an annoying charge of $2.50 per day "for the use of the telephone" But we had cellphones and did not need or use the hotel phone. Breakfast was next door and we were charged for it so we walked to the cracker barrell and ate there. Desk was most accomodating to any questions and assistance.
