Days Inn Orlando Universal Maingate

booked two months in advance and got placed right next to the freeway. 15 tv channels 2 premotional for universal and disney and 2 spanish channels. so nothing good.

The location was ok but the room was basic and the pool was a nice size however we needed to ask for towels and the breakfast was not included, didn't find that out until we went to get breakfast.

Great location for visiting Universal Studios & Sea World. Rooms are being remolded, but the room we stayed the carpet was so dirty, woul not dare walk barefoot! Disgusting rug. The rest of the room was clean. Made reservation 4 days prior to arrival and Rooms where not ready, so at the front desk they said the rooms will be with lake view! Need to clean Lake...disgusting!!

Visiting Universal Parks. We were in a great location to the park. Hotel could have been a bit cleaner, but I was expecting worst...so it was passible.

The location was great, however, there were prostitutes that were above us and on the side of our rooms. The foul language, from late night to befor day. The loud noise. I won't stay here again. The bed coverings were spotted, and uncomfortable. I will not book here again!

had to wear sandals in the room the carpets were disgusting , our feet were BLACK when we walked around our hotel room !!! solicitors woke us up in the middle of the night slipping flyers into our door all hours of the night !!! pools were not very clean , bugs like crazy in it and never saw anyone skimming them !!! i give it a two thumbs up for location but 2 thumbs down for cleanliness!!!!

I checked in late to find the a/c wasnt working; tried to call the desk but the phone didnt work, and called the front desk with my cell phone. The person there told me there wasnt anything he could really do except send maintenance in the morning. Needless to say no sleep all night. I returned the next day around 4:30 and the a/c was still broken, phone still broken room was much hotter the outside. ousecleaning came but the room was still drty, no towels replaced, counter no wiped down, etc. Im sure they were hot in there and trying to get out asap. IM not sure why the this person wouldnt have said anything to management or maint. except that maybe they did. I went down to the front desk and waited a while for someone to help me even though i walked in and nicely informed them of all the problems. They finally gave me another room however several light bulbs were out and the outlets didnt work so I couldnt even plug my laptop in to work. If there were lower than one star, that would be my rating

The price was good, and the location was good, but I was not thrilled with the overall appearance. I was also disappointed when I found out that the internet access that was advertised in the room description was only available in the main lobby. I was on the complete opposite side of the hotel from the lobby, so the internet "access" was not very accessible.

hidden fees not stated in terms and conditions with [...]. also rooms smelled of dirty pinesol not enough towels in room for length of time there. no key to the safes and no HBO as mentioned in ad. the only nice thing about the room was the new tile. The restaurant was a joke (CLOSED) buy your breakfast out of a conveinant store(their gift shop)!!!!!

we chose this hotel because they claimed to be within walking distance to Universal and City walk. That is however not the case. They advertised wifi (was only in the lobby), 25" tv (was 19") and the new renevation was basically just putting in tile. And it seems like they don't mop, only sweep so wet feet make mud. Cheap and acceptable if on a budget but don't expect greatness. Was close to universal though. I called before booking requesting adjoining rooms. They said it would be no problem but when we showed up they had no such thing. we were lucky to get out rooms close to each other. So plan ahead
