Baymont Inn and Suites Florida Mall

Bed bugs were found and the memorial day weekend trip was spoiled due to bites. We were given another room immediately once it was confirmed. Definitely those things would only be a consolation when you had your trip getting spoiled.

Not pleased with first rooms (Had booked two rooms). Unclean toilet, remote control missing, no shower curtain in bethroom. Light by bed did not work. Hairdryer did not work. The hotel moved us the next day to differnet rooms that were much better.

We needed at hotel that was close to the airport and went with this one just chosing it quickly. The carpet were very dirty and stained, we did not even walk on them without our shoes. The security door did not work and the door was open to the outside to who ever may wonder in and it felt like not a really good neighborhood. I have stayed in many 3 star properties but I would give this on a 11/2 to a 2star I didn't sleep all but 2 hour as there was constant activity in the hallway which was very noisy. I usually don't complain to much about things but I was very dissapointed here,

non-smoking room reeks of cigarette smoke! found an empty potato chip bag on floor in room, upon check-in! no elevator!

The first room assigned to us was smelling very bad, the hotel staff got me changed to another one. She ([...]) told me she will call me when my room was ready (since I had another room) but never called when I went to find out she was assigning rooms to new customers without considering the fact that I was there at least a hour before them. I stand in line to wait, they pass three customers in front of me before I was called to give me a room. She tried to assign me a smoking room with smaller beds, which I refused to take. Finally I was given another room that was not clean, I mean not made at all! The door was open and all the sheets on the floor. As I walk out the maids are coming in to clean, the cleaning was so bad that the next day my wife found the coffe making supplies were used from the previous guess, and I really suspect that those sheet on the floor were the ones on our beds, since the cleaning was very fast and I did not see them with a cart or any supplies at at all. The hotel needs some upgrading and the fact that it doesn't have an elevator is a big minus, it is in a good location, the employees need to be trained in customer service. Even small hotels can be very pleasing to stay at if the service is good and clean. I will never stay here or recomend it to any one.

The area is ruff... low and dirty.

When we got there i saw hair in the tub took it out and left it in the sink counter it took them 3 days too finally get the hair out the bathroom. There was also candy and sunflower seeds on the carpet that my 1 year old almost put in his mouth. and if that wasnt bad enough a train passes around 4 in the morning and it woke us up every morning

THE AIRPORT IS ACTUALLY 10 MILES AWAY AND DOES NOT HAVE SHUTTLE SERVICE LIKE STATED IN AD. THE PERSON THEY CALL FOR A RIDE WILL COST YOU 30 BUCKS TO GET TO THE AIRPORT. THE SMELL IS HORRIBLE. CARPETS ARE A DISGRACE. STAINS ON BED. FOUND SOME KIND OF WHITE POWDER ON BATHROOM SINK. DOESNT EVEN LOOK LIKE THEY CLEANED THE ROOM. CHECKING IN WAS NOT GOOD. NOT VERY NICE OR COURTEOUS EMPLOYEE'S AT THE DESK. DONT KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE BUT STUPID ME RESERVES A ROOM FOR A WEEK LATER. WELL THIS WAS EVEN WORSE. RESERVED A KING, GOT A QUEEN, WENT TO EXCHANGE BUT DECIDED AGAINST IT. WENT UP TO ROOM AND PICKED UP HAND SET OF PHONE TO MAKE A CALL AND ABOUT 200 ANTS CAME OUT OF THE PHONE. YOU TALK ABOUT A GOOD HORROR PICTURE. I SCREAMED AND RAN ALL THE WAY TO FRONT DESK AND ASKED FOR ANOTHER ROOM. WHICH I DID GET BUT WAS VERY SKEPTICAL. NEXT ROOM WAS BETTER. BUT I DONT THINK I WILL EVER GO BACK. NEVER EVEN OFFERED TO DISCOUNT ROOM OR OFFER ANYTHING IN EXCHANGE FOR ALL THE TROUBLE. I WAS PRETTY AMAZED THEY NEVER OFFERED ANYTHING IN EXCHANGE. SO HERE I AM TELLING ALL YOU ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. HOPE YOU DONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH ANYTHING LIKE THIS BUT JEEZ AFTER READING ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE, I WOULD HOPE YOU WOULD NOT EVEN STAY AT THIS PLACE.

Nasty room with blood stained sheets and to top it off a prostitute in the parking lot! Shady shady place do NOT recommend!

It was dirty, Room was not ready had to wait, had not been cleaned not even after waiting, sure if it had clean sheets I slept on top of them... worst room I ever had! Next time I would sleep in my car...
