Baymont Inn and Suites Florida Mall

Hotel seemed to have the necessary stuff like refrigerator and microwave oven; what would have helped me more was 2 things: 1. more free sockets available for charging 2. change of bedsheets/ pillow covers after every 2 days atleast.

I booked this hotel because of its close proximity to the airport and the price was very good. I was somewhat nervous about the neighborhood as I drove up,( traveling alone at the time.) The room was ok, but the overall cleaniness was not what I expected. I did not walk on the carpet or bathroom floor without shoes on my feet. The bathroom door was stained. The shower was fine and the bed was good. The room had a hallway entrance but it also had a sliding glass door that opened to a back parking lot. The parking lot was well lit but I still did not like the easy entry from the parking lot. I left the hotel before the 6:30AM start of breakfast.

THE AIRPORT IS ACTUALLY 10 MILES AWAY AND DOES NOT HAVE SHUTTLE SERVICE LIKE STATED IN AD. THE PERSON THEY CALL FOR A RIDE WILL COST YOU 30 BUCKS TO GET TO THE AIRPORT. THE SMELL IS HORRIBLE. CARPETS ARE A DISGRACE. STAINS ON BED. FOUND SOME KIND OF WHITE POWDER ON BATHROOM SINK. DOESNT EVEN LOOK LIKE THEY CLEANED THE ROOM. CHECKING IN WAS NOT GOOD. NOT VERY NICE OR COURTEOUS EMPLOYEE'S AT THE DESK. DONT KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE BUT STUPID ME RESERVES A ROOM FOR A WEEK LATER. WELL THIS WAS EVEN WORSE. RESERVED A KING, GOT A QUEEN, WENT TO EXCHANGE BUT DECIDED AGAINST IT. WENT UP TO ROOM AND PICKED UP HAND SET OF PHONE TO MAKE A CALL AND ABOUT 200 ANTS CAME OUT OF THE PHONE. YOU TALK ABOUT A GOOD HORROR PICTURE. I SCREAMED AND RAN ALL THE WAY TO FRONT DESK AND ASKED FOR ANOTHER ROOM. WHICH I DID GET BUT WAS VERY SKEPTICAL. NEXT ROOM WAS BETTER. BUT I DONT THINK I WILL EVER GO BACK. NEVER EVEN OFFERED TO DISCOUNT ROOM OR OFFER ANYTHING IN EXCHANGE FOR ALL THE TROUBLE. I WAS PRETTY AMAZED THEY NEVER OFFERED ANYTHING IN EXCHANGE. SO HERE I AM TELLING ALL YOU ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. HOPE YOU DONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH ANYTHING LIKE THIS BUT JEEZ AFTER READING ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE, I WOULD HOPE YOU WOULD NOT EVEN STAY AT THIS PLACE.

overall it was a good experience. breakfast was better than average. good service too.

A clean bed, breakfast, business center and WiFi. 7-11 next door is convenient, no noise at night, good beds. Staff was very nice. Furniture was good a few peices older. Don't expect perfection for the price. I was the rooms were a bit cleaner but were for the most part passable.

Baymont was fairly CLEAN and very competitive in Price/Value.

I spent 12 nights at Baymont Inn & suites/Florida Mall,the place is awesome for shopping,Florida Mall is walking distance (about 10 minutes)& the great surprise was the bus stop just in front of the hotel in both directions,beside the main bus stop in front of Florida Mall...So it was so easy to go the Prime Outlet using Lynex bus # 42 from Florida Mall bus stop,so if you are looking for shopping this is the place. Also the way to way by bus to Disney World & Sea world is available by bus...What do you want else? transportation for shopping & attractions..believe me no need to rent a car if you stayed at Baymont. The room & the private bath were great ,wide & clean...Room services are ok,employees at the front desk are well trained to deal with tourists & have enough knoledge about directions & the best transportation. For dinning,there are too many places to eat around...Al house is a very nice restaurant for sea food & steak,also you have Mcdonalds,Abyls,AW...etc. If you don't like the Baymont's breakfast(it was the only negative point in Baymont)try the wonderful donuts of 7/11 just the next door to Baymont...Go head & reserve a room or suite at Baymont if you are looking for shopping and/or attractions & send me a thanks letter.

The front desk was cheerful but very unorganized. They first assigned me to a room that wasn't made up. The second room they gave me was already occupied. Then I had to wondered who else would be issued a key to my third room.

we were on the second floor and there was no elevator to use and had a lot to take up since there was 7 of us. We also had our reservation for 2 months and when we got there they had to find a room for us.

When we got there i saw hair in the tub took it out and left it in the sink counter it took them 3 days too finally get the hair out the bathroom. There was also candy and sunflower seeds on the carpet that my 1 year old almost put in his mouth. and if that wasnt bad enough a train passes around 4 in the morning and it woke us up every morning
