Baymont Inn and Suites Florida Mall

We were only there for one night and arrived very late after traveling across country. Check in was easy and there were 2 restaurants within walking distance. Large room was nice enough with all of the amenities, especially for the price. In need of some light maintenance and the maid needs to look "up" every now and again, as there was an old washcloth in the shower that had been there for only who knows how long. The breakfast was basic, coffee decent, and could have used a little more variety when it comes to the fruit selection (only offered red apples)...Overall, good place for the price, but wouldn't want to stay there for much more than a couple nights....

Nasty room with blood stained sheets and to top it off a prostitute in the parking lot! Shady shady place do NOT recommend!

We chose this hotel because the photographs weren't so bad, the reviews weren't so bad, and the price wasn't so bad. This definitely is not a resort but it's not a roach hotel either. You get a clean and safe place to sleep while you're in town close to the area attractions. The front desk is very kind and respectful. It could have been alittle more finely toothed cleaned but overall, it was alright. We didn't get a remote to the tv but the channels were pretty good for a two night stay. The beds are comfortable and the sun blocking blinds are fantastic. Shower is a decent size and towels are soft. Options for do not disturb and wake ups are nice extras. I would reccommend if you have a budget but don't want to stay in a dirty motel, stay here.

Hotel staff, super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean (new sheets and towels) Pool area, nice and tranquil. Breakfast adequate. Location to everything perfect. Internet wi-fi was spot in great. The one thing I liked the most was all employees gave a nice smile and said hello or good morning. It felt comfortable.

First the pros: The folks at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. Now the cons: The hotel is located on a very busy blvd. Traffic is thick as honey most of the time which makes getting out of the parking lot a nightmare (especially if want to get in the far left lane to go to the airport). I could hear traffic noise in my room throughout the night. There is no shuttle service to the airport either. Taxi will run you 25 dollars. For these reasons I will not be staying there again.

I thought I had covered all my bases only to find I was on the 2nd floor and they have no elevators. We had a weeks worth of luggage I had to haul up to the room. 7-eleven was convenient next door..the pool was nice and clean but very cold. I also called ahead about getting an early check in and said if I check in after 12noon they should be able to help. I did so and they said check back after 1:30PM. I had a very cranky 10 month old baby so came back at 1:45Pm only to be told to come back after 3PM. I said my crying baby is sitting in your lobby until I get a room and voila I got a room.

The hotel staff is really helpful and the property location is the best. The price was right and the place was clean. The bed and room well equiped. The one challenge I had was the internet was shabby. For a business traveler that was a nightmare

Pillows way to small. Bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast consisted of bread, bagels, frozen waffles, french toast, cold cereal, juice and coffee. Train awoke us each morning at 5 & 6:30 AM

The Hotel was great. We flew in from Philly, rented a car from budget (we were upgraded to a convertible mustang since it was my daughters bday and it was just us ladies), stayed at the Baymont Inn & Suites (Florida Mall)and ate dinner at Medievil Times. The room was clean and the people were helpful. Checkout was easy and fast and we had plenty of time to catch our cruise ship the next day.

I was traveling for business, the room offered a refrigerator and a microwave so it siuted perfectly. the room was clean and the room service was ok. The breakfast was good. For the price paid related to the hotel experience 3 stars is a fail rate. location was perfect.
