Baymont Inn and Suites Florida Mall

I stayed here after a day of shopping with family. The price was right and the online photos showed a nice clean hotel. This hotel is very close to a busy street. So there is a lot of noise. Theft is an issue as can be noted by the bold paper asking you to remove your belongings from your car. Our beds were adequate but the pillows are chopped up foam. We found out in the morning our toilet couldn't flush. Though you need to use your room key to enter from one building to another - none of them work and anyone can come and go. If you are new to the area I would stay north of the airport. You know what they say, you get what you pay for!

Stayed here for one night and it wasn't too bad. Just needed something nearby the airport for an early flight the next morning.There were stains on the sheets and chair and the room overall looked really old. Customer service was pretty good though. Would not recommend for a long stay.

The television was old and apparently going out. It was so black you couldn't see much. The thermostat on the HVAC unit must not have been working. Couldn't get the air conditioner to come on without getting out of bed and turning it on. There was no hot water in the shower. Not very clean.

The price is very good. I know someone stayed at a nearby hotel with also pretty good price, but still over 20% more expensive than this one. The room is big, clean and comfortable. The staff are extreemly helpful. I asked for a taxi to the airport, but they arranged a shuttle for me, free of charge!

Overall a very pleasant stay. Friendly staff, nice free continental breakfast, good location. There are two things I would caution you about. 1) the hotel is in a bad area. I would not go outside of the hotel when it is dark. 2) the shuttle service they use is a SCAM. We wanted to go downtown Disney market place. The hotel would only give us the number to there shuttle service. We called Jose and asked if he could drive us there he said no problem and he would be there in 30 minutes. We waited outside for more than 2 hours for him. He finally showed up and said he was very sorry. He called another of his friends to picks up as he had to drive another couple to the airport. A black SUV showed up. It did not have a meter reader in it. He charged us 38 dollars for a 12 mile ride. He said he is super cheap and if we used a taxi cab we would be paying a lot more. On the way back we used yellow cab. We didn't have to wait 2 hours for them and it was 4 bucks cheaper. The day we left we booked the free shuttle for 6am and what do you know Jose didn't even show up. The very friendly hotel staff called a taxi for us and paired the fee. DO NOT USE THEiR SHUTTLE SERVICE!! They are very unprofessional and over charge you! Rent a car instead.

I arrived at the Hotel at the 3 pm check in time, and was told the room would be ready until after 4:30pm. The room was nicely located on the lower level with sliding door access to pool courtyard area. the pool was nice. The staff was for the most part accommodating. My 4 night stay was spoiled when housekeeping woke me up @8:30am by pounded on the door and yelling " Are you checking out! " Checkout time is 11:00am; The cleaning staff should be more respectful. Also, If you try to relax in the business center / dining/ lobby area during lunch time, you will be bombarded by the loud and obnoxious house keeping staff. why do they allow the staff to eat lunch in the guest common areas????

I like a hotel - simple, good service, good price, good location, swimming pool till 10pm, flexibility of employees. Very good price for this level of services.

Room was beyond noisy due to 2nd floor A/C unit that was on the fritz and toilet running every 15 min, the whole bldg D smelled like mold as did our room, pillows were stained (nasty), phone in our room did not work, shower had someone's hair and wash cloths in it still, NO hot water for our morning shower... We were pretty appalled, I've had better stays at a motel 6... BUT, after writing a complaint email to the manager, they refunded us our one night's stay. The front desk didn't seem to care much about the problems we had when we were there. But, management responded promptly to my email.
