This intimate, Art Deco original is near all the best of South Beach

The Richmond bills itself as "Miami Beach's friendliest hotel." The same family has operated the business since it opened its doors in 1941, and the 92-room property is a local favorite. The oceanfront hotel and its neon-flooded exterior and original terrazzo floors fit in with its Art Deco neighbors. South Beach clubs, restaurants and shops are only a stroll away. Lush greenery delivers a sense of Hollywood glamour.

Room decor throws nods to old-world Florida with the vintage postcard-type framed prints and palm printed curtains as focal points. Look for retro details, too, such as Art Deco floor lamps, seafoam- and black-colored tile bathrooms, a 1930s-inspired clock, blond oak headboards and accent pieces. The Richmond's boutique identity adds to its intimacy. Nice touches include a cement path leading to a wood boardwalk and a half-moon spa tub strategically placed in front of a winding stream. Hyvä sijainti ja asiallinen perushotelli

Pienehkö keskitason hotelli, joka verrattain siisti. Hinta sijaintiin nähden kohdallaan, helppo pääsy rantaan ja kävelytielle South Beachin alueelle. Alue autoilijalle varsin ruuhkainen ja valet pysäköinti hinnoiteltu yläkanttiin eli noin 38 dollaria plus teipit per vrk. Positiivisena piirteenä pienehkön hotellin välitön ja sangen kohtelias palvelu.

Lage super

Lage vom Hotel ist super. Reinigung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Badezimmer könnte renoviert werden. Personal sehr freundlich. Kein gratis Internet.

Schönes Art Deco Hotel mit Zugang zum Beach Leider kein wifi aber ansonsten sehr angenehmes Ambientel.

Top Lage, Preis-Leistung Unschlagbar

Wir waren zu 2. dort um Miami etwas kennen zu lernen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und wirklich hilfsbereit! Zimmer werden sehr gut gereinigt. Das Hotel liegt DIREKT am Strand von South Beach (allerbeste Lage). Zum Oceans Drive läuft man keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß!! Im Hotel kann man frühstücken, allerdings liegt direkt gegenüber vom Hotel ein Restaurant, das um einiges besser ist und eine größere Vielfalt zu bieten hat. Im Umkreis von 5 Gehminuten liegen etliche Möglichkeiten um sich etwas essbares zu besorgen. Auch das Valet-parking funktoniert super und das Auto ist versichert...Kostet allerdings 35 Dollar am Tag.. Verglichen mit anderen Parkmöglichkeiten aber durchaus gerechtfertigt. Einziger Negativpunkt: Das WLAN kostet10 Dollar pro Tag.. Wer es schlau macht, nimmt sich ein Zimmer an der südlichen Seite des Hotels und benützt das Free-WLAN des Hotels daneben mit ;-) funktioniert einwandfrei! Für diesen Preis genau das was wir erwartet haben.. Werden bei weiteren Miami-Aufenthalten auf jeden Fall wieder dort übernachten.

Geht man an der Collins Ave Richtung Oceans Drive befindet sich auf der linken Straßenseite(15.Street) ein kleiner Italiener, der zuerst nur aussieht wie eine Eisdiele... Dort gibt es mit Abstand das beste Frühstück im Umkreis von 10gehminuten (wir haben wirklich einiges ausprobiert). Und außerdem ist er erstaunlich günstig für dieses gute Essen!

Pour un hôtel à South Beach, on pourrait s'attendre à un standing plus élevé. Ni bien, ni pas bien ... juste moyen !

Attention pas de parking à l’hôtel, juste un service de voiturier à 35$ ... mais un parking publique accessible à 500m pour 18$ la nuit !

L'hotel est trés bien placé dans

L'hotel est trés bien placé dans le quartier art deco, le seul problème est le parking à +- 300m (public) ou bien le valet parking pour 35$ par jour.
